  1. I'll be there next week for sure, my daughter's show ran late and it was all the way in plain city, so a haul and wasn't worth it. Hope you guys had fun.
  2. shit i'll take $80 for a piece of scrap hpipe that has been collecting dust in my garage for 3 years.... derek(turborust) i think said some place off 104, i forget the name tho...
  3. +1,he sounds like a tough kid but none of us wants to read about him collapsing or anything, which unfortunately happens quite a bit. sorry if that sounded bad, I meant the best.
  4. Looks nice, are they under $20k?
  5. You didn't specify a date, but I'm assuming today right? Where exactly is this? I'm gonna try and show up, I will be coming from Powell tho and can't leave until just about 4pm, so I won't be there til like 4:30, you guys planning on hanging out for a while?
  6. Wow, I feel for everyone in this thread, and hope the best for everyone as well. We are nowhere near in a horrible position, sure things are a little tight and whatnot but nothing new or surprising, but some of the stories I've read are definitely scary. And Jason, having credit cards aren't a bad thing,(unless I read your post wrong), especially in emergencies, but I agree always pay them off when possible. It's always harder to get credit when its needed, so having them out there just in case can be good.
  7. I *think* I saw a black one on 315n yesterday, it looked similar and I didn't know what it was.
  8. congrats dude,i started back 3 weeks ago, have 3 semesters left.
  9. still under warranty? where'd you buy it, my mil is looking for one.

    Mortgage refi

You can get any rate you want....but you gotta pay for it. She probably bought the rate down via points, which is sometimes worth it but varies on each situation. I could've gotten 4.5% with a point, but the up front cost would have taken 4 years to recoup, and since I don't plan be here that long, I didn't do it. Just an FYI.

    Mortgage refi

Lucky bastard, well on the loan thing.

    Mortgage refi

Did they check anything? I just refi'd in January to 4.75% but because I'm not working now I wonder if they'd check anything or just do it? Another .5% would be sweet. I'm w/ BofA by the way, my refi costs in january were approx. $1700. But it was definitely worth it to go from 6.625% to 4.75% as it saves me $150/month.
  13. The mph/times are good for the car/mods, it puts down less whp than a stock ls1 so it shouldn't be faster per say...
  14. Anyone up for a ride sunday afternoon? I'm free around 4pm...?
  15. +1,or the mirrors. And wider tires would be cool but I understand a deal. Otherwise the car looks tits, wheels are sweet and car is NICE!
  16. I need to finish my fence....come dig the posts and you can have all the dirt....
  17. congrats mang, my car for sure didn't feel like a 13teen second car, so i'm glad you're there. Better hit 12's this year.
  18. It's kinda affecting us, but moreso I worry about the near future. I went back to school full time to finish up my last year(took time off for kids) and hope there is a good job available when I'm done. We haven't reallly cut back like we probably should be doing, but so far nothing really affecting us. Her job is pretty secure we think, being one of 7 workers, but who knows. I did refi the house, lowered the payment a good bit and sold my newer car for an older car and bike and put the rest in the bank for a rainy day. But we're still doing home renovation projects I'd been planning...
  19. Congrats, never forget that feeling, I bought back in 07 and I can't believe it's gone this fast. In for pics of garage/bonus room!
  20. trade for a 98 civic lx? clean, just had a bunch of preventative maintenance done, runs great.
  21. Got them both, the pully is underdrive tho.

    What happened to...?

haha, +2 both my little girls are tough, they are 1 and 3 and yeah, between their knees, shins and fingers, I'm sure I get some weird looks, but we have fun playing outside. My oldest gets dramatic sometimes about a "boo-boo", but my youngest usually doesn't give a damn if she falls, we tell her to "brush it off" and she's fine, doesn't think twice about it. But i agree about a lot of these things, my cousins, are like 6 and 8, and i swear to god everytime I see them they ALWAYS have a handheld game or two, and have like 4 video systems, etc...
  24. My parents ponied up to match whatever I had for my first car, I ended up with about $4000, so $8k total and since I wasn't into cars yet, wanted the newest/decent car I could find. I found a 1 year old 5spd Focus Zx3, the 2dr hatch. This was 2002 and I had a 2001 car w/ I think like 9k miles on it. Felt great. After awhile I realized the focus wasn't cool/whatever when I got into modding, but I kept that thing 3 years and put a HARD 50k miles on it w/out a problem. But for your budget I'd say a civic or similar, I just picked up a clean 98 civic auto, from original owner, w/ 120k on it for $2300 for a daily. Runs great, been averaging 34mpg mixed and I know when it comes time to fix it it'll be pretty easy.
  25. Looking nice, definitely sweet wheels. I saw some i think (infiniti) wheels on a mazda3 down on campus yesterday, looked nice but stuck out a tad. Can't wait to see them on your car.
