  1. trd...do you have a silver a4, possibly lowered and tinted tails and that license plate? iv rings? if so i saw you at easton last night, in front of the new edamame restaurant, or hallmark i think? i dunno, but that plate i remember.
  2. It fits? Where's the swap info? Baller. edit, and oh yeah, your creepy looking.
  3. what years were these bodystyles? edit, I just cant get over the weight of these cars, but i guess cobra's and newer cars are just as heavy. Maybe i'll get a miata and 2jz that shit. haha
  4. Seems like a decent cruiser. Bad thing is most are auto's...and they are heavy as shit. I'd drop one w/ big wheels and pimp it.
  5. yeah, its on craigslist as well...might be a decent deal, but has 120k on it, sounds beat, and needs a tranny, so after body work, trans and misc crap, you'd probably have too much in it, and should've just bought a nicer one for like 8-9k.

    2001 cadillac sls

clean title? Any rust or body damage? Need anything?
  7. Tyler, don't get your panties in a bunch, lol. Its just supposed to be an estimate.
  8. I think he's talking about the rubber strips in the rear quarter panels wheel wells, they line the inside lip of the quarter panel, and overtime hold in moisture and that's how the rust starts on these cars. It takes two seconds to rip them out, it might help if the rust isn't too bad. I got lucky with my 10 year old car, when I took them out it was minty underneath, hope to keep it that way.
  9. Nice, but I'm assuming you have a good paying job, or your car is paid off and you don't hardly do any driving, insurance is cheap, and no maintenance? Probably not the average, but thanks for the input.
  10. Man has a point Jeff. I used to be a shift manager at grinders, made a bit more than you do but its basically the same thing. Went back to school and became a driver, was working less but making a bunch more. Shit most thurs/fri/sat nights I'd make $120 a night or so delivering, but it was also dublin/powell area so good money... Sorry to hear Mark, hope things work out for you.

    Hawk pads

Are you supposed to do this on all cars/all pads? Ooops.
  12. My econ prof threw this one at us today, told us to think about it and give a reasonable amount and reason, as well as survey 10 people to get a range. How much is a (your) car worth to you each day? $1/day, $5/day, $10/day, more? If you think about it, avg month is 30 days, so even at $5/day, that's $150 a month. Is that all your car costs you each month? This is including gas/insurance/upkeep/car payment, etc....what do you really think your car costs you each day, and is it worth it? Serious answers please, guesstimate is fine. For me, I figure it's between $7/day on my pd off car, and $19/day on my other car that I have a car payment on...so together $26/day or $780/month, holy shit. Definitely don't think that's worth it, but what you gonna do.
  13. Damn straight....we're still driving, while you're on the side of the road in your broke down pos DSM.
  14. Will this pull a 250lb skiier? Or any for that matter? What about tubes?
  15. I'm trying to see if locking in a low Natural gas rate for the next 12 months would be a good idea. Over the past 17 months I've paid as high as $1.42 per ccf (July 08) and as low as $.76 (last month) per ccf. My average over the past 17 months is about $1.17 per ccf. Columbia Gas is offering to lock in $.81 per ccf for the next twelve months, anyone ever done this? Now I know my rate is lower now, but it doesn't really matter during the summer when I don't use much gas, but during the winter my bills have creeped up near $300/month at $1.19/ccf, which is my average ccf cost these past two winters I've been in my house. Has anyone locked in anywhere else cheaper? Does anyone know or follow what natural gas rates are trending? Thanks
  16. Not bad, DO IT!!!!! SS Camaro FTW.
  17. LOL, what'd they offer you in trade for the rex? I'll give you $500 more....
  18. ^^^And not only that, but have you seen the amount of room under the hood in these cars? It's retarded compared to a lot of cars. This makes things a lot easier for a backyard mechanic to be able to do themselves, and save the money from taking it to a shop. I agree, for their intended purposes, I don't know of many cars that do it better. I doing a complete tune up, including timing belt/waterpump for under $300 myself, and on some cars I wouldn't even be able to do that job, costing me hundreds more possibly.
  19. I saw it first!!! on 71s on the back of a semi. :coolerthanyou:
