you say the cast shit ain't worth crap, but isn't the stock bottom end cast? i doubt anything was forged back then....? so rob, are you saying the engine thats in the car i should just leave as a starting point? i'd probably be satisfied with 400whp as I could probably hit my goal with that much, low 11's, seeing as how the 7 is lighter...

yeah, but the car's fucking cheap so i don't mind throwing a bit into an engine if it'll rock out. alright, well i'll start searching for a stock block and find a good set of used heads, an intake/carb and headers.. Any years/cubes specific to look for?
