  1. I love my '14 F-150 and we considered both those options as well as the Nissan's and Toyota's. None of those held a candle to this IMO. I went 5.0L as well and it's done everything I've asked of it well. I tow a travel trailer and a ski boat fairly regularly. Been down through KY and WV hills without a hiccup and fair MPG in my mind.
  2. How's the neighborhood? I know someone looking but neither of us are familiar with the area and I'd feel bad recommending something if it turned out rough. Thanks and GLWS.
  3. Always wanted one, if only prices were more reasonable. Enjoy it!
  4. I've got some Ethan Allen pieces for sale that we purchased new about 15 years ago. Click on the pictures for larger images. 5. Congrats! Love mine as well. I've got a 14 st3 I picked up in January. About to roll 6000 miles and its been great.
  6. That's awesome, I really like the added effect of having the door open with natural sunlight. I wish I had the drive to stick with it. 85lbs is huge! Keep it up man, very impressive for only 6 months at it.
  7. buy an inboard! then learn watersports and the options are endless!! my .02. Love getting out on the lake, was just at griggs last night wakeboarding and skiing.
  8. I just had lowes copy my car key for when I went out on my jetski and I didn't want my key w/ transponder to get wet. So I had the key copied so that it would work in my door and then would lock/hide my actual car key inside my car while I was out on the lake and only take my generic key that unlocked/locked the doors/trunk. Cost like $2.
  9. Dibs if starkmaster doesn't get it!

Welcome and looks good. I know of a certain black mustang that already runs low 11's and is for sale for $12kish if you have any interest just selling yours and buying one already built. If not...enjoy the journey.
  11. Damn, wish we didn't already have plans that day. Thanks for putting this on though and wish him the best.
  12. +1. I did it for a 2nd story addition. Have an architect draw it up and you submit it and then just show up at the meeting. The city usually sends letters to your neighbors to see if they have any issues.
  13. Damn! They still go for that much?! Congrats! How's the back seat? What are you planning to tow with it?
  14. Pay less for the car? You don't want to be in a situation where you may be underwater if something happens. My 2cents.

    Forget Ford...

Couldn't you just swear off ecoboosts? That sounds like the issue. I haven't had a single issue with my 5.0L in my F-150. On the same note my ecoboost CAR hasn't had any issues either.
  16. Bravo. Funny thing is that guy looks just like a guy I know, I've gotta show him this. This hits home as I've got a 9 year old and I'm sure my time is coming. I always joke I need a shotgun, rocking chair and a bottle of jack on my front porch to scare off the punks. She was singing this song in the back seat last week and I'm like you know this song?? Word for word, she's like yeah, mom turns it up in her car and we sing it. I'm like ughhh.
  17. So my cell phone is currently swimming with the fishes at the bottom of Lake Cumberland thanks to someone who dropped it off the houseboat Saturday. I'm still about 6 months before my 2year renewal and I've never done this....what are my options? I also would REALLY like to get as much off of it as possible, if at all possible. It was an Iphone 5. I was planning on holding out to see the iphone 6 in person but I need a phone NOW. What do you guys recommend I do and if not an iphone what phones are good? I've only had iphones for the past 4 years but am open to something else. Am I going to be stuck paying full price for a phone because I'm not up for renewal? Thanks in advance.
  18. I honestly think my last car that was black was easier to keep clean than my car now that is white. Maybe its just the paint but its a GIANT PITA. My .02
  19. If you've got a 15k budget give me a 3rd of it and rent a Penske truck and I'll drive it out there and fly home for you. I rented a Penske truck for a week last fall and it was ~$700. Either way moving sucks, good luck with it!
  20. +1. Thinking about heading up from the east side.
  21. Looks fun. I approve of the st purchase. Love mine 6 months in.
  22. Correct. A buddy and I did all the loading/driving/unloading. Wouldn't want to do it regularly but compared to some of the quotes we got to have it done or have it at least delivered I'd do it again without question. Once every 7-10 years isn't bad and that's been our frequency so far.
  23. We moved a 4bedroom 2900 sq ft house from San Antonio to Columbus last fall with a 26' penske truck for $700 plus fuel. Couldn't beat that deal anywhere.
