We've got an A3 TDI now and are looking into a SUV to replace it and she likes the T-reg/Q7 TDI or gas, GLk450's, Tahoe/Suburbans. We need towing capacity for a boat and while I love the mileage we're getting out of the A3 I don't see the need for diesel in our next vehicle. Mainly based on price and annual miles we actually will use the vehicle. I also favor the GM as you can still get them nicely optioned (LTZ) but I predict less headaches in older/higher mileage models. Not sure what your budget is but ours isn't putting us in a new model in anything we choose.

Thought I remembered seeing posts about someone that works installing/selling carpet so figured I'd ask. We are wanting to carpet our basement around the 1st of April so need to get things rolling. The half we want to carpet is 13'x20' and 13'x12' with a staircase separating the two. If nobody does it where do people recommend buying from for quality/price? Thanks!

If anybody would like me to buy some .22 for them to just pay me back when you get it I don't have a problem. I'm getting it for around 13/225 or 25/550 packs at the local walmarts. I've got enough stocked up that I would be willing to buy some on one of my usual trips for someone here if they expressed interest and were serious. I'm in Bexley so pretty centrally located.

Good info, thanks! Ok well I'm not aware of anyone in my family having worked for Ford but I know I qualify for X plan through my employer. Is that the best deal I'm likely to get? Can X plan be combined with current rebates? That link says A/Z plans may be compatible with current discounts but doesn't mention if X plan is also.

Anyone have this or know how to obtain similar pricing? It's a pretty significant discount and dealer mentioned asking around....nudge nudge wink wink....might pay off. So...here I am. Thanks
