    Borrow a trailer?

Or rent a Penske and tow the mustang down with it and do it all in one trip? I rented a Penske 26' truck (the biggest they have) and moved from San Antonio to Columbus last year. The rental was around $400 but once I added the insurance it was about $600 all in. Screw spending $1500 on a uhaul trailer.
  10. Thanks for all the input. I ended up buying a combo kit today so it's charging and I hope to give it a try tomorrow depending on the weather. Was very easy to put together so hope it works good. If not there's a 30 day return policy so I can just return it and buy some new gas stuff. Will report back.
  11. I've been using gas powered for years but recently have seen the new electric ones at the stores and with recent issues on my current stuff thinking about making the switch. I've got like .25 acre in the city and only use each of these machines a handful of times per year for maybe 10 minutes at a time. Anyone have experience with them and recommendations on what to buy?
  12. Ok...I'll plan on attending. Never been so I'm excited to try it out.
  13. Can I come and just pay you in cash? I don't have paypal or signupgenius....
  14. You can't just stop there...did he get you anything extra? If so what? If you're not comfortable providing numbers at least put it in percentages so we can grasp what good they did/didn't do for you.
  15. They won't pay ANY bills until you reach a settlement with them that includes them paying for the bills. They also won't pay for ALL the bills if the injury doesn't justify them. The 3x rule is no longer standard to my knowledge.

    so talk me out of

    How about a C5Z? Seems cheap at ~$15k.... http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/4714682209.html
  17. I love my Focus ST3 and its got everything you're looking for I think and was less than what you're looking to spend.
  18. That's less than mine but you didn't give very much info on size of house, features, etc. I switched to Geico earlier this year after having Allstate and Liberty Mutual for the past 7 years and my new house is larger and rate still went down nearly $400/year. Nothing wrong with shopping around but I'd be thrilled if my annual premium was less than $1000.
  19. I just threw all seaons on my factory wheels. I survived last year just fine. @Not Brian...these cars come with summer only tires, you're crazy if you don't put at least all seasons on the car. Sub 40* they are like ice pucks on the road. Mucho butthole puckering.
  20. Wanted to make this but life sucks sometimes....errr I mean is busy sometimes. Glad everyone had a good time.
  21. Hmm, mom is looking to replace her car. Might have to go check these out with her.
  22. I too chose to avoid the ecoboost based on research. I also call BS on getting north of 15mpg while towing let alone 17-18. I'm on a few forums and EVERYONE that tows with an ecoboost complains about their 8-11mpg while towing. I have no personal experience with one but my 5.0 gets 12-14 towing. I get 12 with my travel trailer and 14 with the boat. The boat weighs more but the trailer is pushing so much air. This is backed up with over 5000 miles towing all hand calculated and includes plenty of hills in Kentucky/Virginia/west Virginia. Jam packed truck but not towing I got 19.2 mpg on a 12 hour round trip cruising at 75-80. I was pleased with that. I also went with the STX because I hate all the chrome.
