  1. The opals are realy good in that area. They have a lot of specimens in iron stone

    Weight Loss

This is pretty much what I have been doing but I dont go to the gym. I have lost 40# since last april and still dropping at close to 5# per month. I only do it so the car will go faster though
  6. Congrats on the project. I thought you were selling all the turbo stuff?
  7. Hey I had dibs on it. I have the paypal ready
  8. I have had a couple of those same regulators always worked well. I dont see the straight thread O-ring fittings to screw into them though? Should be a nice setup
  9. Which one, I see an N/A-nitrous car and I see a procharged car but I dont see a turbo car?
  10. Very nice! Been a long haul, I bet your getting pumped
  11. Weight will be my biggest issue and I wont have any time or money to get rid of it. The car wont be any heavier than it was last year and it cut mid 1.3 60's The new powerglide should help tame it down. The 4L60's 3.06 first gear is to violent in a high power application and a 2.48 in the 4L80 and regular turbo 400 isnt that much better. I was torn between the 210 geared turbo 400 and the powerglide. Weigh of the transmission, the one piece sfi case and bell housing and the fact a turbo likes to be loaded is why I went with the glide. As far as an ET I feel confident it will be able to squeeze out a 10.50
  12. I have a civic, its stock for know but it feels really FAST. Maybe we could get together and talk about a strategy for beating up on these LSx's and Cobra's around town?
  13. All my other pistons were the same way. The bottom extra "floor" ring also has two little dimples that have to go down to keep it registered. It doesnt look it but plug access is no worse that before. Most are actualy easier, 1 is a little tougher. the few pictures I have posted make it look alot tougher than it is. I do have to do the coil relocation mod.
  14. I hadnt heard about that. Hopefully it will be OK. Were did you see these failures? Thanks for all the kind words. the car has a long way to go. Its hard having the car so far away I cant work on all the things that I will still have to do after Ron is done.
  15. The core measures in at 24x12x6 using two 3" thick Garrett cores. Garrett rates each core at 900hp so I'm comfortable saying this is sufficient for a 1500hp car. I'm waiting for the tube connections to get here yet. They are going to be some nice CNC turned hose connections for a 4" tube. http://shearerfabrications.com/forum/junk/2009-2-11/1.jpg http://shearerfabrications.com/forum/junk/2009-2-11/2.jpg http://shearerfabrications.com/forum/junk/2009-2-11/3.jpg http://shearerfabrications.com/forum/junk/2009-2-11/4.jpg
  16. Got my new pistons, they are at the machine shop now so I can get the final hone on the block and the rotating assembly balanced. Notice how much thicker the new tool steel wrist pins are than the pins from my last pistons? http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc122/koolrayz/DSC04252.jpg http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc122/koolrayz/DSC04251.jpg
  17. +1 Dont be such an uptight old dick head. Did you forget what it was like to be a kid? You really think they should walk all the way around the block because your to much of an ass to let them cut through a yard. I hope those kids are posting on columbus-teenager.com trying to figure out what they should be doing to you're uptight ass.
  18. Here are some photo's I took of the car at e-town this fall. The car is pure sex to see in the pits and watch roll down the track. http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc122/koolrayz/DSC02974.jpg http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc122/koolrayz/DSC02975.jpg http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc122/koolrayz/DSC02976.jpg
