  2. You may have broke the oil pump gears. I just finished the install an oil pump on my car. It sounded like a diesel after the gears broke. I do have a brand new set of oil pump gears you can have for free if you need them.
  3. These passes were from friday 5/8/07. I was short shifting and not wot. I was running only 12.5psi which is 455rwhp. The 1/8 times were 7.38@98.48 and 7.40@98.44. I was leaving the line off the foot brake with no boost.   5. I loved the way my car pulled with 4.30 gears when it was na. I couldn't tell a difference when I had the 3.73 gears over the stock 3.27's. I was pissed with the 3.73's. If you want 3.73 gears I have a set of gently used ones in my garage. I also have a set of 4.30 gears and a eaton posi unit.

  8. My v2 made 600rwhp with only 18psi. It was over 700 with 24psi. Looks to me that it is down on power.
  9. I think when you saw me I was trying to get away from a ashville cop. I was driving down main street and got on it a little bit and then saw the cop. He was kinda running to his car after he saw me, so I cut through the side streets to get away.

  11. The quickest last night was only 7.68@99. Once I get it tuned it should be in the mid 6's.
  12. Thanks, but I already have a set of 15x3.5 and 15x10 weld draglites with 325/50 bfg drag radials mounted. I just saw no point in running them untill I get the car tuned so I can leave off the trans brake with 10psi.
  13. It really feels alot stronger now. This was the first time at the track this year. It felt really good to be at the track again. It still goes fast even with the lambo doors.
  14. I installed the turbos and drove my car to the track. I had on my regular street tires that are not drag radials.I was shifting before 6000rpm and coasting from the 1/8 on. I haven't got the car retuned yet is the reason for shifting early and running only the 1/8. I did have it full of 110 octane. I was leaving with the foot brake. This was with 16psi. I can't wait to get it tuned and shift at 7000rpm. The new turbos with the .63 a/r exhaust housings take a little longer to spool up as you can hear it in the video. I was using my street tires and the 60's were 2.0's. My 60's with racing tires are in 1.60's. The last video you can hear the bov a couple times. That is when it started to spin and I had to peddled it.   17. The oil pressure guage in our cars don't show how much pressure it has. It will go in the normal range if it has around 10psi so I've read. I just had my oil pump gears break in my car, but I have 0 oil pressure. It sounded like a diesel in the valve train. The gears could be broke and still making a little pressure. Did you pay top dollar for the car? That vibration could have been the broken gears and the only way to find out is to remove the front cover. Then remove the oil pump and take off its' back cover to view the gears. I would not run the car any more if you want to save the block for rebuilding. It is the teksid block and they are will handle over 1400hp.

  19. I'm thinking the stage 2 comp cams are the 270's. I had them in my car with ported heads. It did lope nicely and the car rocked back and forth at idle. The cams are known for ptvc, and I have the stock pistons that can prove it.
