quoted for the truth... downshifting will spin the tires quicker than anything.... even in my 4 banger S10... manual or auto... it's a bad idea
the best way to stop is allow PLENTY of distance to stop and be gentle on your breaks... no need to jam on them... that will cause you to slide down the road.
I know there's a problem with the '04's as well... the 0 ring on the power steering pump leaks onto the exhaust manifolds which can cause a fire... I've had mine changed out twice because of it leaking... POS GP
my g-f's dad does it on the side... he said that he makes enough even in warm winters to pay all of his bills for the year... his fulltime job is just play money. (of course he has the city contract) he took this year off though because he said that it really is hard on you, especailly when you get the call at 2am when a freak snow storm comes in.
walking to school would suck, but if their parents don't love them enough to take them to school on a day like this, then that's their own problem... you know, thin out the hurd a little :-D j/k

I have the CP Pro... I love it.... watch out flying it outside though, the wind caught mine about 20 feet in the air and sent it straight towards my neighbor's house.... needless to say, I just bought a new shell and landing gear for it because they broke :-)
