I know this might sound like a stupid question... but if drilled and slotted is such a bad idea, why does most serious sports cars come with them standard (new Z06, Porche, etc...)? I can't believe it would be austetics(sp?) only

I have Nitto DR's on my car, but honestly, they don't seem to hook much better than the KDW tires I had on before the Nitto's. Nitto's deffiantely require to be really hot just like everyone else has said.

they have ones that will work with coolant also. that's where I got mine at.

I've gotten these from autozone or advanced (I can't remember which) before.. They are allot cheaper too because I think it's like 3 dollars a yard for the hoses.

remember, its' when you get cocky and think you can drive better than you can in the snow / rain that you wreck or end up off the side of the road.. since our winters haven't been that bad the past few years, you probably havent' had much practice driving in bad weather... don't get too cocky or it'll bite you in the ass.... with taht said, I agree... there are some dumbasses that drive.... today comming back from lunch, some arab lady was driving 15 down a 50 zone and would swerve you tried to pass her... I ended up parking next to her at work and told her to call a cab to go home and she started yelling in some foreign language....

what's the specs in their cams? comp cams is one of the biggest cam vendors... I would imagine that they know what they are doing.

we have some TEKSystem's consultants at my company's Help Desk (If you know where I work, please keep it to yourself... just so that it won't offend anyone (I think one of them is on this board)) and they are absolute MORONS.... I mean, don't know the first thing about computer except how to transfer calls and not even transfer them to the correct group. I'd really like to see us start going with a different consulting company.

I don't mean to sound like an ass but as a bike rider, you should pay attention also as well as WEAR YOUR FUCKING GEAR!!! It's sad that the gentleman lost his life, but it is difficult to see bikes at time no matter how much you look. Bike riders should be extra cautious when riding because with our blind spots, it might hide part of a car, but it hides the entire bike. It seems like allot of the time, I encounter bike riders that try to push their way in front of me, or go in between a car and myself.... that's just plain stupid... also, last year, some buddies and I were driving down 270 and a group of bikes were driving at a very high rate of speed trying to race us etc... about 2 min's after we got off the freeway (my buddy lived right off the freeway) we heard paramedic sirens everywhere... turns out those guys ended up wrecking.... ya gotta be careful out there guys.. be safe! This is not meant as flame bait, so please don't take it that way.... be safe out there people!
