  1. This winter my main project on the car among a few performance items will be redoing my dash. The factory instruments panel was worthless due to the fact I had all aftermarket gages. And I really did not like how my gages were mounted low under the dash with my relay board So I'm going to mount all my gauges and toggles on this fabbed up instruments panel and remount my relay panel and boost controller on a nice piece of aluminum. And mounting the tach and shift light at eye level on main hoop of cage http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/2012122095162253.jpg

  5. yeah its a little bit of a pain I think, I guess I could drain the cell and put a few gallons of gas and go that way. but this is not only for winter time but also to run during the season. These gas stations have this fuel for who knows how long in their tanks. I always test the strentgth but who know how long its been sitting to collect moisture as well.
  6. I see the two big ones are Sta-bil and lucas make e85 additives. I have had some issues with the fuel and the black gummy stuff that goes with. Has anyone used these additives and like one over the other http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/484105761_R_16790ce7.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/41nyFpPrqnL.jpg
  7. agreed, for street duty 700 and less is plenty. would love to see what your 331 would make with some different turbos
  8. My dream setup that I have built on paper more times than I care to admit is a notch with ls 6.0 and twins. I could build an 700-800 rwhp notch including car for 10.5k or less. One day....
  9. would not waste money on ls2. Id go lq9 or lq4 and build it cheap from there with a jy trans for 2500
  10. lol what a shitty mixed up trailer.
  11. yeah not my ideal barn find...an 85 iroc. But still 4 miles on a car sitting since 85 is cool to uncover
  12. Thinking about making a few personal tshirts and had this made up..nothing to fancy or crazy like some of those sweet tshirts on yellow bullet but though id share the pic none the less. http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/GAM1707.jpg
  13. hubs and rotors pay good money, when I worked at the dealer I would save up a 55gal drum worth and take them in.. the alloy in them make em worth good money
  14. Im sure your best places to go are ACE on groveport rd or Columbus Auto Shredding on Alum creek. Its been awhile since I was in the scrapping game but I did recently check prices and believe they were paying somewhere around 240-260 for sheet/ton
  15. yup make an appt and bring photos from cvs. You can fill the form out online and print it first to take with you. Bring two checks or if not you will need to buy money orders from the post office. Pay for expedited and wait 2-3 weeks. If you go to the state dept website it tells you what the current turn around time is for passports.
  16. Did the same thing some years ago...glws

  18. Selling my practically brand new AMS 500 boost controller. Comes with controller and solenoids, everything that comes with it new. Prefect, just changing up a couple things. On My setup I was able to control from 2.5psi to 18psi no problems anywhere from the bottom to the top of my number but I think you can control all the way to 40psi 345.00 FIRM.... its 400 plus ship/tax new minimum.
  19. Thanks Randy ill look into it. Chad, is her shop local here...whats there info.
