  1. Looking to get some digital vinyl decals/stickers made of my avatar. proly like a run of 50 unless the price is right maybe some more. 1st choice would be a local business and 2nd would be some online company you know does quality work. something like bumper sticker size or 3x5-4x6 already checked with tommy at totalsign he cant do digital stuff
  2. Look into http://parks.columbus.gov/NorthBankPavilion.aspx north bank pavilion has a beautiful back drop and the price is pretty good.
  3. Im the same way especially at the retail autopart stores I just bring all my part numbers and have them pulled. I LOVE the advance auto part website and discount codes... cant tell you how much stuff over the last 2 years I have bought with those codes!
  4. needs moar turbo welcome
  5. That would be true... if I can get a halfway respectable 1/8 mile time before the event I will do it for sure then. (Not halfway respectable x275 1/8 mile time just 5.40-5.50's)
  6. LOL oh well silly me for posting in this thread without seeing it was in the kitchen.. carry on boys
  7. I recently switched from doing my own thing at the gym and mixed cardio to joining a Cross Fit Box. Been there 3 months. And every workout is hard, like anything else in life you get what you put into it. There are prescribed weights and you can scale that up and down. Its real world workout, I know at least in my job it helps me. But for most people unless they go and do a class or put 100% forward and do a work out of the day at home or their gym to see how difficult it can be then you will never know. But that said if you are looking to get huge and take on strongest man competitions or powerlifting stuff its not for you. If you want a no brainer competitive environment where the workout is already set and instructors push you on then crossfit is pretty cool. Just add clean diet and watch the results happen.
  8. Hell I dont care if I just get my test and qualifying rounds in and dont make the field. I will be there, thats real cool. pending they allow e85 in one of the classes.
  9. WTF did I just watch...
  10. LOL..yeah right. even if I had not built the car Id be saying the same stuff. Sometimes I miss riding my old bike and want to get another one. I guess Ive seen enough people get hurt that it scares me enough to steer clear of them anymore. but like I said above it takes balls for sure, bigger ones than i have! scary shit seeing PS MC at norwalk leaning on a big slick and click off 6.7x's
  11. No doubt, im not here to change peoples views, im just stating my opinion that all Ive been fast down the quarter on a box stock liter bike without launching it and went fast. Im just saying stock busa going 9's vs a turbo fox body going 9's.... much more respect for the fox body, because it took just a touch more work to make a 3300lb mustang go 9's than a 560lb busa
  12. no doubt it takes balls. not downplaying fast bikes. but it takes less to make a bike go fast (money, setup, maintenance) than a car. Thats why there are tons of fast bikes out there compared to cars. I just dont have love for bikes anymore on that level. I did enjoy shifting at 13.5k when I owned one. Brian, Teasley is Steve Rose's cousin
  13. yup not downplaying anyones junk, I would much rather goto yellowbullet nationals or any big event at sgmp than goto tx2k... but have much respect for those guys, just not my thing. That being said I would never turn down a chance to drive something fast there or be part of a crew that makes those records.
  14. I agree it would be awesome to be involved in a car that can set records in the standing mile. Id have to research more than I have (which is none) but is there a car that is a competitive 200+ mph in the standing mile and driven coast to coast. A bike hardly ever impresses me anymore its just so cheap to go fast and everyones doing it.
  15. Didnt amys car get sold or traded in at some dealer around here or is that just rumor
  16. ^ I too could see it being a ton of fun but I guess it all comes down to how fast you are getting it done in the 1/8 or 1/4 ask Steve Jackson.. fastest on radials 4.19@186
  17. I too would like to start buying more local made products or at least USA made products. But we really price ourselves out of the game when many over seas made products are barely affordable.
  18. once a month CPD holds the impound lot auction at 2700 impound lot rd on the south end of columbus. If you call you can get the dates with information on a recording. Prices start at whatever scrap would give for car. There are plenty of decent cars there but all come with salvage title...possibly no keys and you cant hear them run or drive them before buying them.
  19. Scott its to you. 50 bucks is beyond worth it but Its too tall to fit in my locker im mounting to the trailer for the track.
  20. welcome, ive seen plenty vids in the past
