I am building it. Its only going to M&M to get the block bored, torque plate honed and getting the block short filled. All Final Assembly is going to me.

most people on here will say fowler or M&M. I have spoke with M&M and he seemed very friendly and answered a ton of questions. I have heard some positive stories from people outside the board as well. I plan on dropping a block to be machined there next week

Yeah if TRP was not 185 miles from my house Id be interested in that. I plan on taking my car to a couple out of town deals if I get it moving fast enough but I just would like a local track to have something like those rules.

Thats what I am talking about, there needs to be basic rules but nothing overly extreme. Just something local and I am sure if they put some prep into the track plenty of people would enter

I sent an email over to the GM of trails to ask about possibly running some sort of limited schedule 275dr stuff (providing they would prep the track). They did not shoot it down and it seems like they are aware of the growing popularity. Pretty much just said they need a sponsor so they could guarantee some sort of payout... Would be pretty sweet if between kilkare and trails there could be a few local tracks for some more interesting heads up style racing.

Isnt it like 850 to ship a car one way? May be pricey but i say ship it out there and fly to salem. Hell with taxes and fees wont renting a car be around 250-300 a week? Id say drive it there but man that would be a haul.
