  1. I believe they are on different platform. Sigma for CTSv and Zeta for GTO. I am not sure what the differences are but would have to assume there are differences.
  2. Lol I was exaggerating! It certainly does not fill certain roles as well as some other cars. I would be thrilled if it had AWD. I find the ride to be a real nice balance, I don't think it needs the Magneride, but it would be nice to have I suppose.
  3. I am a HUGE fan already :-). Would be happy to let you drive it - it will be interesting to read your write up without my bias! At this point I am wondering why all of CR does not have one of these.
  4. In 2007 the red was called "infra red". That is where my search started. Chesrown in Delaware had one in that color. I just did like the color as well as the black.
  5. Well done sir! I will tell my wife I have to get a cam as I need that plate. For those that do not follow my plate on my WS6 for a long time was CAMD LS1
  6. Lol all in fun. I have never driven the wheels off a car like you did in that Neon!
  7. I will give it my best! Thankfully the interior is perfect as I don't do interiors well... Black leather with suede inserts. After doing some research I do think it may need a front differential bushing (very common CTSv issue) and the parking brake doesn't work. Other than that the car continues to impress. Having torque RIGHT NOW is awesome and I am not even sure if the Bose stereo is any good as I keep it off so it does not interrupt the V8 symphony.
  8. Oh it will be at C and C. And it is hard for you to play the part of Paul because you actually have a fast car that actually runs ;-)
  9. A little more research yielded the answer... It is the stock resonator. So the set up is muffler delete, stock resonator and cats, aftermarket tips.
  10. https://www.google.com/search?q=stock+exhaust+routing+2005+ctsv&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en&client=safari#miuv=0 Not sure if that will post right from my phone (image on far left)
  11. Yep scott - only the middle piece is bigger and based on a couple of quick searches it is a stock piece.
  12. Quick google search seems to confirm this is a stock exhaust with "muffler delete" and after market tips. I am not sure however what the rectangular box is that the pipes route through right under the console where an xpipe would be, maybe another cat? Anyone know?
  13. No, that is what I thought too. They appear to be Corsa knock offs and I don't think it has mufflers at all. There is nothing but pipe from the middle of the car on back. The tubing goes from manifolds to cats to what might be a muffler where an x-pipe might be. I need to do some research as I am not familiar with the stock exhaust but this one sounds amazing and is way too loud to be stock.
  14. Thanks Scott, this is the one you pulled the history on for me. Rear end was rebuilt in 08 or 09. Has a clean service history and car fax.
  15. I don't think it is ready for the beetle yet
  16. Yep, still have the 02 Suburban Z71 as an extra vehicle. Wife has a FwD Volvo.
  17. They run 16-25K. The ones at the lower end will have higher miles but most have less than 80k.
  18. Lol - I know I shared that with you. When I bought the Mazdaspeed 3 I really wanted the CTSV but my family said I was not old enough....I turn 40 next week so it was time.
  19. I keep trying to convince myself that I can be happy in a 4 cylinder turbo FWD but both times I have tried I have sold them within 12 months. I am happy to have just purchased the vehicle I have wanted for years - a 2005 Cadillac CTS-V. So far I absolutely love it - it is everything I expected and more. The car actually has a few mods - exhaust / intake and shifter. I plan on tint and maybe blacking out the grill. While I love the look of a lowered vehicle this car is hard to get in my driveway already and I like the ride the way it is. The previous owner had the mufflers removed - I love the sound. Huge difference in true duals over my y-piped T/A. It is an LS6 (04 and 05 were the LS6, 06 and 07 were the LS2) I am looking forward to working on the paint - it is clean but could use a couple of passes with a buffer. I may have Andy attack it to get it where I would like to see it and then I can maintain it. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v96/casey02ws6/Sideshot.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v96/casey02ws6/Back.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v96/casey02ws6/Front.jpg
  20. I was thinking the same thing! "Hit a squirrel today, need a new hood and windshield"
  21. Quite simply they have access to information you do not have. They get this through MLS and, more importantly, relationships with the other realtor. Please note this all goes for a good realtor... Many are worthless. A good realtor will take advantage of a bad one or someone not represented by a realtor in these transactions as they are not as simple as most think. example: buying realtor calls selling realtor and says "house is partially empty, mostly man's clothes in closet but pics of a couple on the walls, what is going on?". Selling realtor (who is not a good realtor) says "wife left the husband after he lost his job, he found work but in another town and moved to an apartment, thankfully he doesn't owe anything on the property". Buyers realtor now has the upper hand and negotiations will cost the seller money.
