Depends on if you use the term "synthetic" properly. Most oils today are modified hydrocarbons, not true synthetics. Amsoil and Royal Purple are "true" synthetics, most typical brands are not.

I switched my old truck at 200k and had no problems and many other high mileage switches went well. If you are concerned, try a synthetic blend first and see how well it works.

google agreed value insurance and you'll find loads of companies that will insure you. Just be sure to read the reviews and policies closely. There are LOADS of things in the fine print that void your coverage, many people have been screwed by not complying with their terms.

We only have two left and if they jack up the rates, they'll get closed too. Luckily, if you have a balance, many cards are still are offering 0% balance transfers so you don't get stuck with a balance and high rate.

AT&T's service is getting worse IMHO. I used to get coverage with my Bold from the office all the way home. Now I get zero bars in the office, 1 bar just outside the office and I don't get coverage back until I'm within a mile of my house.
