I search all over the Internet for as far as I'm willing to drive for the right deal, given what I'd spend on gas/hotel/etc. Then I shoot off an offer, get told no usually but they "want me to come in to talk about it". I pass, tell them I'd be bringing a check and just want the cash price. Sometimes their tone changes there, others not. I explain where I'm driving from usually and if they want to deal, they will. I'll say the last month, they don't even want to deal. Maybe because they rather hold on in the hopes of a sucker with a tax check? Maybe it's the hope of warmer weather and a sucker then? Who knows. I'm patient, I don't NEED anything so when I see that deal pop up, I'll be there.

Not calling me out, I get the game. I just laugh when I make an offer and I get the reply of "our price is already too low, we can't budge" which tells me all I need to know. Either someone else has asked and offered more or they aren't in a hurry to sell. I was taught, if it was priced too low, it would be gone already. I think it's even funnier when I get a message weeks or months later asking if I'm still interested. I usually just laugh at that point and say no. It just boils down to me knowing what I want to pay based on my searches of similar cars out there. I hate the games and if people were honest with me from the beginning I'd appreciate that more.

Explains why car prices have spiked a tad too I'd guess. I've been doing some searching and the few leads I've had end of last month went away now. Most dealers stopped getting back to me so I guess it's their loss as I'd guess they are assuming I'm not either interested in buying or can't afford it. Same here, but often I'd forget to eat lunch because I was too busy. I'd eat a double dinner with 0 fucks given. I was 6-2 135lbs as a senior in high school, now.... 6-2 270lbs. Fuck I need to go outside.

Cr Only Special, $500. Offer stands until I decide to get off my ass and fix it, if I fix it, price goes back up. Ran fine when I parked it, I tried to start it yesterday, now it won't start. Cranks fine, pulled the plugs and there seems to be spark but the Plugs were dry and bowls are now leaking gas. I'm guessing the floats are stuck or something and gas isn't getting through. The wife wants it away from her Camaro and out of the garage, plus I don't have anywhere to put something else should I get it so it needs to go. $500, come get it out of here.

Wife bought a RWD car Saturday, my snowblower dies Sunday. FML. My back is now killing me, ~120 ft of driveway and one shovel later.

I'm too cheap lol. Maybe a used ZL1 or a new 1SS 1LE maybe. She has been driving manuals since we started going out. All I had were manual cars so I taught her. They are more fun! I think that's the plan. Finding a deck lid and swapping it out.

The wing is even stock, factory option. That's her #1 on the to do list, find a way to lose that wing. As far as we know, it's 100% stock. Haven't had a chance to really tear into it yet because she doesn't want me touching it and the weather is piss poor. It still has factory warranty and an extra year because it's a CPO car, so I suspect she won't let me toss parts at it till the warranty is gone.

This is what I did when I reran the gas lines in my basement. Just routed, measured and bought prethreaded lengths from Home Depot.
