  1. You're right about most of your post up until this last bit. Early tech adopters are by no means respresentative of where most of the money in the world resides. Not by a lonnnng shot. Regardless, its coming. Me - its hard for me to express how far away from anything I'd ever want that this is. I like driving. I enjoy it. They can take driving away from me when they pry my steering wheel out of my cold dead hands.
  2. About pooped at 1:26 thought the V was coming into him
  3. So now that its all over you can tell us: Was "group assessment" code for gang rape?
  4. Had my V in at Germain last week for service. They gave me a new CTS for loaner. I mentioned how asstastic the CUE system was in the last loaner I got, the ATS. They said "oh the CUE has been majorly upgraded for 2015/2016" its waaaaaaaaaay better now. FF to today. Yeah... CUE sucks balls. Still. Will not buy Caddy again until they dump that abortion off a cliff and start over with real goddamn knobs. Don't care if the car rockets to the moon. Can't live with that CUE shit. I mean what is GM thinking with that console? Its like you hiring a hot body'd porn star complete with huge cans for prom and then, right before you walk into the gym, you wheel around and hulk smash her nose.
  5. It sucks, because back when they were on Sawmill as Crestview they rocked. I loved their service. And even when they moved to 161 it went down but wasn't *bad*. But ever since the change to Capitol - its like ghetto in that service dept.
  6. Yeah I quit taking my V into Capitol. And I live in Dublin. Its worth it to drive all the fuck way across town to Easton instead. Exact same as OP - its like they don't even try to diagnose much less fix. Tried to make a service appointment, they wouldnt answer phone. front desk answered took msg, no call back. Took in V over winter/spring and asked them to look at suspension, balljoints, etc. Nope. done with them
  7. maybe dumb question - do the chips help with grip? is that the purpose or is it for color/pattern/dirt hiding? Does the clear coat cover most of the chips? dont know about this stuff so pardon the question
  8. CUE still controls much of the day to day basics in the car like fan, temp, etc etc. And those controls are still those haptic fury-inducing pezio-electric plastic surfaces that make me want to punch a cat. I know - I just had a loaner while my brakes got worked on. It still sucked ass. ..... The GOOD news is: I heard Caddy literally is going back to the drawing board, scrapping CUE, and re-introducing good old knobs and buttons. As god intended. Hopefully we'll be hearing of this change soon. Then out comes my wallet. But if they take longer than it takes the 2016 GT350 to arrive at a non ADM dealer then caddy lost my money this go round.
  9. SUV or whatever makes no difference to me. Not replacing current V with another Caddy until they chuck CUE.
  10. I was gonna look at these "new" products but then I remembered I have a penis.
  11. Yeah. Was waiting for a GT350. Then saw the financing deal this week.... made me think of regular GTs. Spent the night searching thru dealer inventory around Central Ohio. 18 dealers, none had what I wanted. Sad face
  12. Hi all, Wife's 2003 93 has ac leak. she has no air left whatsoever. I don't have time to crawl thru entire system with some UV leak and light to find. MAG quoted something absolutely ridiculous to fix. Anyone know a good shop in NW Columbus that can find the leak and seal back up, recharge system, and not trash the interior or destroy my anus in the process? MAG is out of the question, on account of I have a mortgage.
  13. /\ this I quit diapering my cars once I had to diaper my son. Shit gets driven. Don't give 2 fuks what make it is.
  14. wow sounds like you two had lemons or terrible luck. I've owned Audi, Mercedes, BMW, Honda, Toyota, Saab, Mitsu, Chevy, Cadillac and Ford and the Fords (plural) have been, by far, the most reliable and cheapest to maintain. With the Cadillac coming in second. Am still on the Caddy atm, but switching over to Ford next. Either the RS or the GT350. Whichever it is it will get driven DD year round. Extended warranties are usually loss leaders, and I don't buy them. ---- Back to the topic, if this pricepoint puts it in line with the VW et al, then I think its not too out of line since I consider the quality on par with them, and the performance sufficiently superior to them (at least on paper). But I obviously would prefer a lower $30K entry. I option the bejeezus out of my vehicles though anyway so I never mind highly packaged entry points. Agree nobody cross shops Mustangs and Focuses... except me. I'll buy the one I think fits us best after I can sit in both. No pre-order and ADM shenanigans for me.
  15. I will laugh out loud if they make them shoot in the US and make Clarkson say nice things about American cars. That right there is worth the price of 3yrs Prime.
  16. I'll likely be getting a GT350, and yeah, you'll see it in the snow in rush hour traffic. Just like my CTS-V. Just like my 03 SVT Cobra. I drive my cars.
  17. +1 for it being priced $20k more than its worth. The entire line needs to come down $10k per model across the board.
  18. yeah that's a pretty huge one
  19. OMFG that had me in tears the video definition of Zero Fucks Given
