im about halfway through sanding and prepping the bumpers and skirts and what not on this car.
what a pain in the ass this thing is being.
the stripe in the molding is being a bitch to come off, because of the ships and minor cracks in the bumper. when it comes off it pull some paint with it, so feathering out all the spots and getting them smooth and level is being a bitch and painstaking.
also i fixed a big rip in the front bumper, and filled the license plate bracket holes. the rear bumper had to rips in it from where the old tailpipes you to hit.
i picked up some really good stuff for the tears, and it holds great, and is flexible with the bumper. im very impressed with it. kind of expensive for the small amount you get, but it is worth the price.
first pic is one of the tears in the rear bumper. there is a similar tear on the other side, but i already fixed it. but wanted to show what it looked like before, during and after.

then you just sand and fill with more if needed. and then re sand again.. etc. etc.

on the driver side front bumper there was a rip kind of where the bumper starts to turn in to the radiator air flow spot. and it went right and down. the bumper was completely torn and hangin. previous owner zip tied it. that is the finished product after using the epoxy and sanding smooth. i twisted it and moved it to test strength. i think it will hold pretty well.
my paint should be here this week. and hopefully i will be done with the prep work by then. i get my new wheels this week as well. im hoping to have it on the road this weekend. but who knows what will happen.
