  12. interested in the driver seat. can you send me a pic, and dimensions. i want to make sure it will fit in my fix without rubbing the shit out of the door panel and center console.
  13. buck youll hate the 235s.. the sidewall will bow in on the rim. the 245 are perfect and sit flush.
  14. it sure is.. and after thats painted. i have the pleasure of buffing the rest of the paint out.. its pretty bad, but im sure i can bring it back to life. i might do a light wet sand on the whole car with 2500. depending how much clear is there. if not ill spot sand the bad spots and start off with a wool pad and some 3m perfect it III. and work my way on down the line.
  15. i didnt write up there cause i forget, but when im back out in the garage, ill find out and snap a pic too. its one of those 2 part syringes. you only get about 4 min of working time with it before it gets too tacky to spread evenly. still fantastic stuff. its also nice to use as a filler for nicks or anything you may have in urethane. bondo will just crack out on anything flexible.
  16. as most know ive got alot of tattoos. right arm in the process of a full sleeve. on the inner side of that arm i have a flamed Mustang that i absolutely love. and i was thinking of another idea for a tattoo for a while to go with that but on the other arm but same spot on the inside. im thinking of getting the 5.0 badge off the fox cars tattooed on there. is that retarded or no. i dont regret any tattoos i have, and never will. and why would i want a 5.0 tattoo. well i have had six fox cars, and i just cant stay away form them. i love the style, the sound, everything about them. i have been kicking around the idea of either half sleeve or full sleeve on the left arm, with a car influence behind it. so this piece would fit nicely with that. anyway here is a pic of the right arm with the mustang for reference. http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p301/hoblick/S4300012-5.jpg
  17. being .75 inches longer isnt going to throw it off much. i think thats what fowler put in his blue gt he had. he ran cobra Rs on it, and the were nice and flush to the fender well with 275's sitting in the back.
  18. nice work rob!! id liek to see this thing when its all finished
  19. im about halfway through sanding and prepping the bumpers and skirts and what not on this car. what a pain in the ass this thing is being. the stripe in the molding is being a bitch to come off, because of the ships and minor cracks in the bumper. when it comes off it pull some paint with it, so feathering out all the spots and getting them smooth and level is being a bitch and painstaking. also i fixed a big rip in the front bumper, and filled the license plate bracket holes. the rear bumper had to rips in it from where the old tailpipes you to hit. i picked up some really good stuff for the tears, and it holds great, and is flexible with the bumper. im very impressed with it. kind of expensive for the small amount you get, but it is worth the price. first pic is one of the tears in the rear bumper. there is a similar tear on the other side, but i already fixed it. but wanted to show what it looked like before, during and after. http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p301/hoblick/S4300003-4.jpg and after the epoxy is on http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p301/hoblick/S4300007-4.jpg then you just sand and fill with more if needed. and then re sand again.. etc. etc. and hre are some progress pics http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p301/hoblick/S4300006-6.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p301/hoblick/S4300008-5.jpg on the driver side front bumper there was a rip kind of where the bumper starts to turn in to the radiator air flow spot. and it went right and down. the bumper was completely torn and hangin. previous owner zip tied it. that is the finished product after using the epoxy and sanding smooth. i twisted it and moved it to test strength. i think it will hold pretty well. my paint should be here this week. and hopefully i will be done with the prep work by then. i get my new wheels this week as well. im hoping to have it on the road this weekend. but who knows what will happen.
