    been a while

the streetglide was a fun bike. i had alot of fun customizing it. It was a highway king, i could ride that thing from coast to coast. Unfortunately whenever i got to a fun place to ride, with tons of turns, and amazing canyon roads, i was always wishing i had a different bike. I was dragging parts on the harley in every corner, it handled like an old buick road master. I tried to help it out by upgrading the brakes to Brembo units, rear shocks to Ohlins, and a Racetech fork kit. it helped, but not enough. so i got rid of it for something a little more sporting =)

i was wanting to go to atleast 1 cars and coffee event this past year, and i never had the time. Honda has me working 6 days a week. Ive got overtime out my ass. Ive worked through the last few holidays. so the free time i get im either spending with the wife, or wrenching in the garage. hell im actually behind on stuff i need to get done in the garage. I gotta freshen the suspension up on the race bike and the ducati.

    been a while

its been a while since i have been on CR, i pop on every great once in a while, but im pretty far out of the car scene now. Bikes have been my main hobby for last several years. Still Have the Sonata 2.0T and its holding up great with 50K on the clock and not a single issue. Purchased a Nissan Titan LE 4x4 Offroad earlier this year, love this truck, hauls anything i want, and its the 4 door, so tons of room in it. Terrible gas mileage, but the wife usually takes it to work and back (about a 10 min drive) so not that big of a deal. im still currently getting 33 - 35 mpg on the highway with the sonata still amazes me out of a turbo car with 274 hp. ive upgraded bikes a bit in the last year. last year i was rocking an 07 Streetglide that i decked out with wheels and alot of powder coating and other goodies. http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/477d53cc.jpg went to something that fits me a little better. 2011 Ducati Multistrada, 470lbs 195hp, and i can ride all day on the thing. i can ride 2 up with it on long tours, or take it out and rail in the twisties with the sport bikes, (most of the time they are trying to play catch up =-) ) http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/a8e2fceb.jpg http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/DSCN1344.jpg http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/DSCN1698.jpg also upgraded the track bike.. 07 GSXR 600, with a few goodies i added to it. Driven 520 chain and sprocket kit Woodcraft clip ons, frame sliders, case covers, rear sets, and spools optimal body work (painted by 614paintworx) Driven gas cap Brembo 19X18 front master cylinder ASV Levers Speigler Stainless brake lines Ferodo Track day pads Akrapovic exhaust GPR Steering Stabalizer Michelin Power Cup Tires this thing is a blast on the track http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/211017.jpg http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/A4430B15-35B1-4858-A4D5-805C44076022-4333-000000E58347C3A2.jpg http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/ScreenShot2012-12-11at40438AM.png and then for cheap fun, i have two Honda XR100Rs, that i run down at circleville with OMRL. this is by far the cheapest way to have fun. I have a total of $1200 - $1400 a piece wrapped up in these (thats with all the little mods done to them) its cheap as hell to race down at CRP as well, so its a great way to get in some racing on the cheap. http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/C5E49350-6D4B-47C7-8702-0CF21C64E8CB-11358-00000AC85CF05654.jpg http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/55AB12B7-0183-4A75-9F31-797408880DF9-11358-00000AC8AEB2E395.jpg havent had alot of time to do much this past year, started my own business up, and still worked my job out at Honda. so i pretty much just worked non stop. did get a chance to go out to colorado and ride (simply amazing) http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/DSCN1654.jpg http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/DSCN1552.jpg got in a few track days on the big bike, and a few races in on the little bikes. this year im hoping to be freed up a bit more so i can indulge a litttle bit more in my hobby, but we will see where that goes. Do have plans already though to drag the track bike down to florida in march to play at Jennings GP. so in a nutshell thats about what ive been up to. if anyone gives a shit lol.
  6. posting this up for a friend. he bought these for his 2011 WRX which he just got rid of. he put maybe 600 miles on them.. and that would be pushing it. they are black steel wheels 5x100 and general altimax snow tires 215/55R16 he bought them from tirerack.com for i think $750 he is asking $650 obo his name is oliver call or text him @ 614-975-1803 http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/b533843f.jpg http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/20a53c15.jpg
  7. Specifically people who sell product online. have some questions i need to ask. if you have a minute to chat PM me your number
  8. Yup im a member over there
  9. yes if prepped right. and if you use a GOOD epoxy.. the stuff at lowes, home depot, or menards wont last 20yrs. but if you have cracks, uneven floor, etc. you have to take alot more steps to make it look nice, aside from prepping and painting. and the cost to prepare my floor, fixing cracks, leveling it out, then using a good epoxy was far more expensive, almost double the cost. Plus like i said if i move, i can take the tiles with me. if i get a bigger garage, just buy more tiles to fill it.
  10. or you can find them in any car, motorcycle, gun magazine
  11. im not sure.. i know the US General stuff is pretty damn good though
  12. the HF had very nice drawer liners already installed, as well as a nice thick rubber mat on the top i looked at the husky, but the HF box was better quality IMO
  13. i call BS.. i checked the husky box out when looking at a new box.. the husky doesnt even compare in quality to the harbor frieght box that i have. you can bash the HF boxes all ya want, and some are junk.. but there 13 drawer bottom roller, the top chest that goes with it, and the add on side box are great quality boxes at a very cheap price.
  14. do yourself a favor, save another $100 find the coupon for the 13 drawer roller box from harbor freight go buy it. $349 it is better quality than the craftsman ball bearing of the same size. i was skeptical when buying mine, but it is an amazing deal. ball bearing drawers, already has drawer liners, tons of storage and will hold alot of weight. the top drawer i have every socket, ratchet, extension i own in it. and it is solid as a rock. slides perform beautifully. ill be snagging another one up in the future
  15. trust me i thought about the coating.. but after pricing out what it would cost to correct and level the floor completely, then cost of epoxy, and even then epoxy isnt all that durable. the tiles were a perfect choice for me. plus if i ever move, i can pull the tiles up and take them with me.
  16. i was skeptical on that box, but after all the good reviews i took the plunge. its the best box for the money you can buy period. its a nicer box than the ball bearing craftsman of the same size, and alot cheaper. i plan to add another just like it at some point
  17. we are actually having people over for my wifes birthday on saturday, it will take place in the garage
  18. The joints are really tight, unless you let fluid sit forgours and hours it wont leak through, but yes you can pop individual tiles up to clean
  19. Thanks brian.. My garage is close to complete.. Im happy with it so far
  20. Not much noise at all. I laid some underlayment to quiet it down
  21. Polymer tiles, $936 shipped
