  1. so i did a search on the forums and saw people wanting to know if you could use a roush vent gauge pod from another mustang in the 15. No one had an answer, and looked like no one had tried it. well i pulled my AC vent out, and headed to Jegs. They had pretty much every roush vent gauge pod in stock, i think there is only 3 anyway. looked at all of them, and the one that fits is 403840, which is intended for the 05-09 Mustang and 04-08 F150. this is exactly what i bought, although i thought it would have the roush gauge, but i didn't read the description that its a autometer sport comp, which is just fine for me. http://www.jegs.com/i/Roush+Performance/832/403840K1/10002/-1 its not a direct fit, but with a little bit of modification i got it to work. i dremeled off the 2 protruding tabs on the side of the vent pod, and then it easily slid into the chrome trim ring. after seeing the fitment, i then took some black RTV silicone and put a bead on the back side lip of the chrome trim ring, and a few spots on the inside of chrome trim ring. i then took some 2 part plastic epoxy and put it on the outside of the Roush vent pod, enough to fill the void between the trim ring and the vent pod. i centered the pod in the trim ring, with the chrome trim ring facing down, i put a somewhat heavy object on top of the vent pod to hold it in place in the trim ring. let it set for 15 min, and then i added some more epoxy on the back of the trim ring to the vent pod for extra holding power. in hindsight, i think i might have tried to find a couple large o rings or something to help with a tighter fit before using some epoxy to hod it in. not that what i did won't work, but i think i might have tried that as well. i haven't wired the gauge up, or ran the boost line, but i wanted to make sure everything would go back on before i started wiring and running the line. so this is the test fit, looks pretty good IMO. ill have to notch a spot out of the A/C duct for the wiring and tube to go through, and i bought some wide foam window seal that i will install as well to keep the seal on the A/C duct like the factory vent. http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/33E102AC-761E-4DF9-8FFE-AFBF361FA60F_zps0kr9ihbd.jpg http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/0D34EB47-C6D4-4474-8780-885E4B2A9614_zpsi6zccfxt.jpg http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/57153EC9-6C8B-4099-BEF2-37B3C2DC8B0F_zps03pgayel.jpg http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/416D1569-3BC4-48C3-BACA-531A73D8258E_zpsqaqq2sbj.jpg http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/3965F8FD-85FB-4B90-9DB7-D7A52F7AD501_zps8e6owsmg.jpg http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/80E1B5BE-6FC9-4C6C-8668-F7A52ABE871C_zpspugo6run.jpg http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/10AC7176-1C8C-4B2B-92CC-9B1B6B1769B7_zpsc0z6qdhu.jpg
  2. Ran to Jegs this morning to check out some rough vent pods to see if I could make one work in my car. Currently no one makes a gauge pod for the 15 mustang, so people are getting creative. I wanted a somewhat factory look and retain use of the vent. After test fitting 3 different vent pods, the one for 09 up f150 looked like it would work with a little modification. Also picked up an autometer boost gauge while I was there. Then the mail came and I got a few packages. My plugs, injectors, and kenne bell boost-a-pump. http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/4AAC72B8-A73E-4675-8EBC-30131470406E_zps8kkqswko.jpg
  3. Trying to figure out what boost gauge to go with. I want a reliable accurate gauge. Honestly prefer an analog gauge. Anyone have thoughts? Right now, leaning towards autometer cobalt series.
  4. Suspension parts to go in this weekend http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/5CE36243-5D57-4C53-98B5-024D0ECD1AF3_zps8mejbdum.jpg

  7. I work with bob chapman in marysville. Owner is a younger guy, gear head like the rest of us. He told me no worries if I have bolt on mods for warranty work.
  8. i picked up my 2015 Mustang GT Performance Pack beginning of septemeber. currently only mods are an MBPR 3" race cat back. decided i wanted to go forced induction. before making more power, i wanted to address the wheel hop that is present in stock form. The wife decided to surprise me with Eibach Pro Kit Lowering springs, and i ordered BMR Delrin IRS cradle bushings, BMR 95 durometer Poly diff bushings, and Steeda Poly Trans Bushing. these are all getting installed this weekend. today i finished up ordering all the other go fast goodies. ProCharger HO Kit with the upgrade to the D1SC head unit ProCharger Fuel rail spacers to fit the new injectors FRRP 55# injectors Kenne Bell Boost A Pump Stainless Works 1 7/8" Long Tube Headers NGK 6510 spark plugs I'm going to be ordering T clamps for all the connections, and may buy an aluminum intake tube to replace the silicone one that pro charger ships with the kit. i will also be ordering a catch can kit so i don't have the crank case oil running through the supercharger. lastly ill have to find a boost gauge, currently there are no pods or mounts for the 2015. most common solution is to use the performance pack gauge pack out of the EcoBoost mustang. it replaces the Vac gauge that the PP GT mustangs have with the boost gauge, and its plug and play. my only issue is it goes to 30psi, which ill never need. id rather have a gauge that goes to 15psi so its easier to tell how much boost its making, or a digital gauge. Brian Turner / DynoTune Motorsports will be handling the tune on the car. I'm shooting for 600whp. a guy on the mustang6g.com forum with the same kit, same injectors, and a Lund Racing emailed tune made 634hp on 9si with stock exhaust manifolds (cats still in place). so think 600 rwhp is more than doable on my setup.

  11. this is what was in my garage at my old house. its a wall mount ventless blue flame propane heater with blower. im pretty sure is either 30,000 or 45,000 BTU. it heated my 24x22 awesome. would keep it in the mid 70s on the medium setting. comes with a 100lb propane tank that is pretty damn full, the regulator, and the lines to hook it up. you should need anything else. i only went through about a tank a winter. $375 for everything will take trades on a few specific firearms. Glock 9mm (any frame) M&P 15-22 Ruger SR22 or Walther P22 308 Bolt Gun easiest way to get ahold of me is phone/text 614-256-3407
  12. i watched it the other night, pretty good flick, alot of interesting stuff in it.
  13. Ill be moving here in the next week, and my new shop space is quite larger than my 2 and a half car garage that i have my flooring laid down in. so im gonna sell it. the flooring is black and silver in color. the border around the edges is black, and the center is silver. here is some info on the garage deck flooring made by snap lock industries. GarageDeck® is a traditional, coin-top pattern, multi-purpose residential garage flooring system which is engineered to give you an easy to clean professional work surface. This surface is ultra-durable and capable of handling rolling vehicle loads in excess of 44,000 lbs. GarageDeck is resistant to oil, grease, petroleum, antifreeze and most household chemicals, making it easy to maintain. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY CHEAP KNOCK-OFF COPIES that cost more - GarageDeck is U.S.A. Made and Engineered - We will beat any competitors price! Easy installation - No Tools , No Glues and No toxic mess. Made In USA i have enough to cover 20 x 22 garage.. maybe a little bigger i cant remember. anyways.. i paid $1100 for everything, which includes the edge trim for the front near the garage door. i have used it for about 2 years, does show some signs of wear, but nothing major. if you need more, you can buy whatever else you need to complete the job. looking to get $500 for it. will entertain trades for a nice shotgun, M&P 15/22, or a 1911 here is a pic of it when i first put it down http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/b1258af7.jpg

  15. the strom and the NC700X are taller bike because they are in the adventure touring category. they have a little longer suspension travel and more ground clearance. they strom is more adventure touring than the NC, it will actually work somewhat ok off road, but the NC is more of an on road bike. its just the category they are in though.
  16. if you want MPG.. the new Honda NC700X is the bike to have.. 60+ mpg in a very comfy package, that also has some incredible engineering behind it, gas tank is in the rear, so the space were would be a tank can be used as a storage compartment, pretty neat. they are priced nicely, and are very light and agile. my buddy bought one and it was pretty fun to ride. 700CC twin im not a huge honda fan at all, but its a cool bike. it gets rave reviews as well.
  17. paul i may have a buyer for you, hes been looking for an AK, ll let ya know when i talk to him.
