  1. thursday night i filled all the fluids finally, reinstalled y trim piece on the dash with the boost gauge, ran the electrical wires for it, connected the boost line, reinstalled all the other parts i removed in the engine bay, and friday before work me and my buddy finished up the exhaust and put it back on the ground. Monday i i have an appointment with Derek to get the car aligned. Seeing that my Procharger hasn't showed up yet, i figure i have time to go get the alignment out of the way. after monday, the car will start to come apart again, and ill start on installing the new plugs, injectors, boost-a-pump, and pull the bumper off to get ready for the Procharger install. I may end up doing a DIY grille delete while I'm at it. now the sweet sweet sound of those long tubes. sounds a lot better in person
  2. My valve cover breathers and t-bolt clamps came in, and I decided to order a Steeda shifter base bracket/bushing. http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/582F84F7-BAB8-45EF-846F-D7075F080205_zpsmp0cben8.jpg
  3. May I add, it is awesome to mod a brand new car that isn't caked in road debri and grease
  4. i Use HD Poly seal, great product to work with. but my winter beater, i think half the clear is gone off the car so.... yeah the ram was done about a month ago, ill probably wash and reseal it and put a coat of Chemical Guys butter wet wax on top for extra protection
  5. Clutch line installed today, and ran the line for the boost gauge. Long tubes almost finished up. Just have to pu the rest of the exhaust on,and button a few things up. http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/834B795B-6D10-456B-AFE3-AD589B0FAFA9_zpstbu9ztb8.jpg
  6. I'm better with motorcycles, as I have been out of the car scene for a while.
  7. I got the OK from the wife to mid the car, so I'm taking advantage of it. She is pretty damn awesome, never complains about my toys, or spending money on them.
  8. He should be callin you , his name is Ashton, has cash in hand.
  9. Groove Automation high volume clutch line came in today http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/6C99209A-BBCD-48B0-9585-40F7154B8162_zpstcizie68.jpg Passenger side header installed today, motor mount and starter put back in, and we started taking the driver side header out. Should have it completed tomorrow. I may put the car back together to take it to get aligned. Since the procharger may not get here till next week. I'm doing all the fluids right now as well, everything drained, just have to fill it back up before we are done.
  10. i have a very interested buyer for this. a number he can contact you at?
  11. I told him it's just a fun street car, so not focused on one particular aspect.
  12. the car is set to be tuned on the 24th of Oct. i need to get to work lol
  13. Started on the headers today, me and a buddy only got to work about 3 hours on it, but we almost have the passenger side header removed lol. a lot of work ahead of us. http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/41978BE6-E794-44FE-888E-81E30D693D14_zps1ihgsotx.jpg http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/8E7A9A61-5ED5-44AD-AFEC-0AFE6755E76D_zpsrtogy6zi.jpg
  14. ill be waiting a bit on the shocks. I just talked to Kelly at BMR, i drove my car to work last night and notice a wiggle from the back end and some slight pulling. He informed me his car did the same thing till it was properly aligned. Apparently the toe, camber, and thrust angle goes all out of whack after removal of the IRS cradle, and especially when they are lowered. so when the car is all together after the tune, i need to take it somewhere to someone who's really knows what they are doing on alignment. and i have a spec sheet where the car needs to be on the adjustments. anyone have suggestions for a good alignment shop? IPS?
  15. The braces to me are bandaids to the real problem. The the stock bushings are really soft to deal with NVH. They have a lot of deflection I them. And if you could only see the size of the holes in the it's cradle bushing for the bolts. They are 3 times the diameter of the bolts. The BMR delrin bushings have a hole the exact dimension of the bolt. I ordered a high volume braided clutch line today, and planned to order a shifter bracket, but I think I'm gonna hold off on the bracket for now and buy an MGW shifter later. I've thrown a lot of money at the car I the last 3 weeks, and need to slow down a bit. The last things to order are t-bolt clamps and either a catch can or breathers, and then pay for my tune. I'm close to pulling the trigger on the Viking shocks though.. Trying to talk myself out of it and to just wait till spring.
  16. no plans as of now, i will road trip this car every now and again, and i will also daily it to work in the summer for the most part. so i want to be able to refuel easily. E85 is scarce out here.
  17. lol. im excited to get it together. i won't be able to work on the car this weekend, so I'm trying to get the headers on this week, that way the following weekend i can install the pro charger and supporting mods. I'm waiting to hear back from Dyno Brian, I'm trying to have the car on the dyno by the weekend of the 24/25 of october
  18. and a picture after the Eibach Pro Kit springs. http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/F69CFE91-3426-4B1C-A452-8D8152B61760_zpsaxrg988c.jpg
  19. Brown Santa showed up again today to deliver these. http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/52393AD5-EC0D-4B44-87EE-ADF43103C476_zpsvov3bnd4.jpg http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/AE18266A-0F50-421C-9784-F3D93B9F5467_zpspkyykqge.jpg StainlessWorks, stainless power headers. will be trying to get these on this week so they are done and out of the way, so when the Procharger shows up i can spend a weekend installing it and the fuel stuff. Also picked up a full fluid change for the car. http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/77BB02A8-606F-4363-8EB4-93984D0E3252_zpsyymptsaw.jpg
  20. suspension was completed today. Installed the IRS cradle Bushings, Diff Bushings, Transmission bushing, and put the Eibach Pro Kit springs in. Stance is much improved. I have a tad more NVH than stock from the bushings, but not terrible. Wheel hop is improved, but not gone, i was hoping for a 80% improvement, but think i only really got 50% improvement over stock. was it worth it??? i had about 11 hours in the car today. having to drop the IRS completely out of the car, as well as removing the diff, just to put bushings in was a PIA, especial when you have to pretty much cut the old bushing out. I'ts worth it for peace of mind, but wouldn't want to do it again lol. Ill be looking for other avenues to finish curing the wheel hop. Maybe viking double adjustable shocks and BMR LCA spherical bushings. the car does handle better now, and is more even through the corners than it was before. i still need to get an alignment though. IRS out http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/B8F38003-3D1B-400B-AB84-8E6FA60AB76F_zps1yfkvuaz.jpg http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/53BB4FCE-6442-47B1-AC4F-C0A8B4B16D04_zpsmgan7iwj.jpg new bushings in http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/BF8FA5F2-8B71-47EA-9601-6488E56E2C3D_zpse52qiqj3.jpg http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g425/hobglide/A1BFF364-C421-43E5-898D-AEFE11BC879F_zps4xornidy.jpg
