I would go by the owners manual. And if it does end up not being able to tow that weight you have a leg to stand on in court if something doesnt pan out. But the owners manual clearly states 5000 pounds max and 24 feet long max.

I would say if you were on the clock and making a run for the company they should pay for the damage. I would think because you are an employee and using your car to transport there goods that would make them somewhat liable. Hope everything works out for you.

I have a 99 Cherokee and the owners manual says a max trailer weight of 5000 pounds and a max length of 24ft. That is with the I-6 and auto.

I made one out of some copper tube a few hose nozzles and a leaf blower. Works pretty good. And its cheap.

I towed a 3000 pound trailer from here to Denver with no troubles at all. The roads were icy and it snowed so that is about the only thing that gave me troubles. But it towed it just fine. Stopped it just fine. I do not have any aids on the springs and had no ill effects with the handling.

Our accountant does our taxes for us. Then I have to file them myself. Not everyone that prepares taxes does them electronically. No big deal just drop them in the mail.

A friend of mine just bought two Smith & Wesson .40's at Vances for $189 a piece. They were police trade ins. They were still in really nice shape no cosmetic flaws and the action worked smoothly.
