do it. i want to do bigger than the 55g i have now, im just too lazy to do it. at first my excuse to myself was i didn't have the $$ for a 125+ gallon, and now i do but ive also got a house id rather spend it on.
the 55g route isnt too bad though...i think i spent $100 on the tank and stand with lights, filter, rocks, few decorations...then picked up a better filter for $100, maybe $15 on pool filter sand for the bottom, $5 to paint the back of it black, and a couple other misc things.
got a couple oscars now im hoping will get to be 12+ inches now that i went from 3 to 2 fish (2 is more than enough for that size tank)...they eat goldfish with ease.
