we've had one of these threads before. mine - I wear a pair of socks once. i'll wash them, and give them to good will, or sometimes people at my work or my family wants them...i think they're wierd, as i would never wear someone elses socks...i think its part hating to wear socks after they're washed (they lose the new soft feeling), and the other part is the minor OCD in me hates thinking that when i wash a load of socks, the ones i match aren't the same pair as what came out of the bag originally. I hate drinking out of glass, unless its beer, or coffee. all the cups in my house are plastic, aside from 6 beer glasses and coffee mugs when im walking into work, i flip my name badge/id card 6 times before i hit each door (front door, door just inside that, and door into the work area). fucking wierd, i know, and i have no clue why i feel the need to do it. theres a couple other things i know im forgetting.

you failed. that trigger was so damn heavy on mine, the gun moved when i was shooting. at 10yds, i was happy to just hit an 11x13 target. thought maybe i just sucked at shooting. 17lb trigger FTL. bought my M&P, at 10yds i can put every round within a 4" circle or so

we walked out of peppers half sloshed, asked someone on the street where a titty bar was...he pointed us there, we walked the whole block to get there, they were closed due to a water main being busted. or something like that (its been 4-5 years). we walked down the other way and hit up million dollar saloon. sitting right at the stage FTW. we were there all fucking night. first time in a titty bar = win. now a days, i can really relate to the joe rogan skit about being in strip clubs

just take it to vances. i had my g/fs grandpa do mine, as he is one of the gunsmiths for vances, but he usually only does work for family or that they give him to do. they should be able to knock it out in like 10 minutes. i would hope you dont have to leave it there.

thinking about it more today, i figured it'd be good to put it into my savings for my best friends bachelor party in vegas this summer, then today i talked to him and he said no vegas, and its staying in pittsburgh. FAIL.

quoted for more accurate truth. especially since glock sued S&W over the design of that gun.

yeah, i went through that with my bank (5/3). dealership tried them, turned down. i went into the branch, walked out with a check

not sure yet, but im guessing its going into savings. i paid my car off a couple months ago, CCs are all paid off. i'd like to save up so i can do house mods this summer.

just caught this on jimmy fallon...cracked up laughing at it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPIp7rO2zNk

i dont, and i think that would almost be too much hassle to save $600 or so.

lol. that wouldn't make me suspicious if i was your neighbor seeing 6 AK's being delivered. but i'd probably want to come over and check them out. haha
-
yeah, ive dealt with it before, but really didnt think about it until recently like...hold on...why do i have to pay tax on a product that sales tax has already been paid on? oh well.
-
so those who commented, how long would you think the average life is on the above mentioned parts? i found an 01 330ci with <67k miles. if none of those things have been replaced, how soon do you think it would be before i can expect to start having to fix/replace these things? and im waiting for the seller to email me back now.
-
cool. thanks for the info. but on that topic, how much BS is that that you have to pay sales tax on a used car, every time it gets bought/sold. argh...greedy state
-
found an old thread, but it was locked due to age. if i buy a car from out of state, do i pay sales tax on the car in that state, or do i pay it once i get it home to ohio. also, what wasn't really clear, is if i go this route, how do i get tags to get the car home? i remember seeing someone saying they couldnt get temp tags because the car wasn't titled to them. is it one of those things like take your other cars tags and make sure you dont drive like a dick until after you get home and get it registered? TIA

make sure he's (or she) is not limp wristing it. that may be why its jamming. a gun as popular as that will probably not have many issues (unless you got a friday gun, lol), and its probably user error. when i went shooting with matt (beer30), his ruger kept jamming...i mean like probably 15 times in a few hundred rounds. i shot a few mags through it and it only jammed once. still too many, but it was probably more my fault than the guns. but its good to hear your brothers nuts dropped and he kept it. i know if i did something like that for my brother and his girlfriend pussy whipped him into taking it back or not taking it at all, me and him would have to have a serious talk.

e46. just trying to decide wether i want 2 or 4 doors, rwd or AWD (4dr only on XI's), color, etc. and then find it at a price i like something like this im thinking about... http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?ct=u&car_id=273252044&dealer_id=78844&car_year=2002&rdm=1263365160815&lastStartYear=1981&num_records=25&model=3_SERIESCLASS_SERIES&systime=&make2=&highlightFirstMakeModel=&start_year=2000&engine=&keywordsrep=&keywordsfyc=&certified=&body_code=0&fuel=&awsp=false&search_type=both&distance=0&marketZipError=false&color3=GRAY&color2=SILVER&search_lang=en&showZipError=y&make=BMW&color=WHITE&keywords_display=&page_location=findacar%3A%3Aispsearchform&min_price=&drive=&default_sort=priceDESC&seller_type=b&position=top&max_mileage=100000&style_flag=1&sort_type=distance&address=43231&advanced=y&end_year=2004&transmission=Manual&doors=&max_price=11000&cardist=177&standard=false but theres a bunch of other e46's i like that are nothing like that. lol

i will once im ready to pull the trigger on a car im interested in. right now im looking for the exact car i want for a price that i want...that and im trying to justify having a monthly payment on a car that will be a secondary car, as i already have a DD/beater that will stay until it breaks down. its paid off and doesnt have any major issues, and only 60k miles

well 1999 is definitely older than 2001, even if it was last year...and 5.7 isnt even a bad rate. the website said right now 5.6% but i didnt know if that mattered on the year but thats not bad either in the sense that 5/3 will go up to 2005 and the rate is at 4.99% sweet.
-
any more info? ie, did you go through them, and if so, how old was the car and what kind of rates/monthly term did you get?
-
ive PM'ed a couple people here who i've seen post about working at banks. figure an open thread might help too. anyone know of a bank/credit union that will do loans on cars older than 5 years old? im looking for something maybe as old as a 2001 up to a 2005. the banks i have accounts with, 5/3 and chase will only show me rates for up to 5 years old, so back to 2005, but obviously i'll get something cheaper with a couple more years under it. any banks i can check with rates that arent stupid for cars around that age? my credit wont be an issue, so right now its just about finding a place to do it.
-
thats what i paid almost 2 years ago to the day. i bought it 1/18/08
-
here...found this on another forum i posted on. i knew it was around somewhere... so in the end, $399.99 + tax and i got 4 mags.
