  1. good call on this. took it out of the plastic sealing bag, ran it the first day for about 8 hours, went in like "damn, it stinks just as bad in here" opened up the front, and realized the filter is individually wrapped. took that off, ran it about another 6-8 hours and i had to go back in to change a load of laundry, and i didnt smell anything we've not changed the cat litter boxes since thursday just to test it, and i can walk in and not tell they're even there. only problem i'd have with this in my bedroom is that the fan is a little noisy, and i couldnt sleep with it running.
  2. i know my old boss had her baby, they did a thing at the baby shower anyone who brought diapers got a ticket into a drawing for a decent bottle of wine and 4 glasses...she never had to buy diapers for the baby. all she had to do was keep going back to walmart and changing them out for the right size. score! but ive got a nephew on the way, and i can tell you right now, my sister is a moody bitch. i got her a couple things for her shower in febuary, and im planning on going out this weekend once i get paid and getting her quite a few of the big 200ct economy packs of diapers. probably going to get a costco membership since i will not be shopping at walmart anymore
  3. i'd do it too. unless it was someone i knew or dealt with a lot, oh well. lets see...i make you happy one time, or i get $300 and make myself happy. not a hard decision.
  4. email? thats odd. although, it has been maybe a year since i had him work on my gun
  5. im not doing the walls. i was going to the ceiling, but i guess im ok. i dont know...for some reason i was thinking that the insulation would keep the heat in the house and keep the attic insulated and keep the snow off the roof. oh well. glad i found out this way then to go buy all the stuff, fill the attic, still have snow on my roof and scratch my head like.."wtf?" live and learn
  6. eh...well now i feel like an idiot for having that back-assward. nevermind then. lol
  7. still here. only thing gone is the fish tank stand. just send me a text. i probably wont be home much this week since work is offering overtime til the end of the month, but if you want, i could bring them with me to work (westerville) and just take a break to meet up with you and get them to you evan
  8. is this something i can rent the machine and buy some insulation and do this easily by myself with 1-2 people? ive always heard that if you have snow sticking to your roof, your attic isnt insulated enough. well, i have snow. HD has 40 sq/ft bags for <$10. i could probably do it all for a couple hundred bucks.
  9. give me a day or two. i know my sister took lessons from a guy in our old neighborhood who played for the columbus symphony orchestra or whatever it was...he wasnt much older than me either. i *think* his name was stan, but i cant remember for sure.

you should post it for sale here for 10% under cost and not eat the 5%, and get cash. problem solved, and you dont eat as much as taking it back

i know. im just saying. you should just tell your brother to man up and put his foot down and tell your SIL to eat a dick because he's not giving/taking it back.

thats how i've always known it to be. and not to sound like a dick, but i think you should be happy they offer a return at all...taking back something like a gun that has left their store could be a huge liability. how do they know you didnt take it out and try to do something to it and fuck it up, next guy goes and shoots it, and it blows up and does serious damage? not saying this is the reason for the store credit, just that you're lucky they offered it at all
  14. news today said he took back his retirement statement and changed it to an "indefinite leave of absence"
  15. yeah...he was working out with me at the Y then went over there. he asked me a couple times to stop out there but i never have time. i may have to do that though
  16. i work just down the street from rucky house and dont think its great...its ok, but thats about it golden china express in gahanna across from massey's on granville street is my favorite
  17. +1. ive had a couple benchmade mini griptillians (lost both of them), but best knife ive ever used...get the one with the partially serrated blade. might run you 50-80 bucks depending where you shop online
  18. that holster looks a lot better than that junk you posted the other day. i like it a lot more
  19. no gun is "decently priced" at dicks. go to vances other than that, i dont know about that gun.
  20. yep...and a real inspection will take a few hours, so its not like something they can come out, look around, and say "yep, its good. next house?"
  21. wierd. i got on there this time last year before i bought my house, checked all 3 reports for free, forgot to cancel it, and 30 days later, they charged me $16. oh well then i just went to annualcreditreport.com a few weeks ago and paid the whopping $23.85 and got all 3 of my reports + scores.
  22. summer = 72-74 degrees. for the last couple months its been at 69 all day long. 70 if im feeling chilly at night. i cant sleep in cold because i usually only have shorts and a tshirt on. the gas bill we just got which would have covered like the first week of november to first week of december (i think) was $50.xx ...thats for a 1400 sq/ft 3 level split. i also shrink wrapped 1/2 the windows so far, and still need to do the ones upstairs.
  23. i actually got a lot of what was on my list, and very little of what wasnt. new towels for bathroom inside doormats ohio state hooded sweatshirt ohio state tobogan beer glasses (6x 14oz) air purifier for our laundry room/cat litter box room TV wall mount new bathroom scale desk 365 day calendar for work door knocker with my last name (i can stop being "rogers" now. lol) 18v cordless drill (one of my favorite things) 2 ceramic knives (other favorite thing...thanks to my dad) another air purifier (dad cant coordinate with others) another tv wall mount (see above) a sweet knife block thats not really a block, but will fit any knife (google "kapoosh") then i got a muscle car sweatshirt from my g/fs grandparents, and some cashews the only thing i put on my list and didnt get was a new socket wrench, a bacon holder, jack stands, and a timer for my fish tank lights. i made out good this year.
