  1. just do it like this guy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8475ocNvzw&feature=player_embedded slow motion
  2. lol. i was watching that "manswers" show the other night, and it said for every million miles driven, men are in 5.1 accidents and women are in 5.7. go men.
  3. and what happens when they find out you're the one that has called 13 times? if it was that much of a concern for you, it would have been best to follow him until the cops showed up...that way you can tell them what roads your on, where you're turning, etc...and yes, ive done this before, with someone who im about 95% sure they were drunk. or a woman. who knows.
  4. im with verizon too. lol but ive had my plan for 3 years this march...every time i get a new phone, they tell me that my old plan is no longer available, and i tell them im not going to buy a new phone from them if its going to cost me $10-15/mo more...they always figure out some way to "get it figured out"
  5. i keep mine ready to fire at all times. ive got an M&P 9c and a keltec PF9. the last thing i need if i ever have to use it is to fiddle around with racking the slide to have it ready to shoot and FWIW, the keltec has no safety (except a fairly heavy double action trigger) and the only safety (if you want to call it that) on the M&P is a trigger safety, where the bottom of the trigger has to be pulled back before the rest of the trigger will go back to fire

    Tax programs

the "free" version of turbotax is for the simple form (1040ez). i bought a house last year and have those deductions, as well as a little bit of interest income (~100), and a little stock market stuff, so i dont think i'll be able to use the free version. although, from the estimates ive been looking at online, i may get back around 1700, which would be sweet.
  7. TW > WOW > Insight i thought when i moved all i could get was insight, since im in the same neighborhood as my g/fs parents, and they have insight. i wasn't thrilled i couldnt get TW, but anything is better than insight.
  8. probably. i wouldnt want to take the risk of reporting it then they follow up and the car was in florida or some shit for vacation that week, and they can prove it
  9. wow. way to narrow it down to half the integras in the country.
  10. i want to say it was like $19.47 at walmart for the WWB 100pk. i think when i got 3 boxes, it was $61-63 with tax.
  11. year and a half old repost http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=54177&highlight=Dynolicious
  12. when i looked into it a while back, it seemed like i'd have to be really hardcore into shooting A LOT for it to really make a difference for me...since i only shoot every couple months or more, im not going to drop all that money into reloading to shoot so un-often. i just find the ammo where its cheapest and call it a day
  13. im sure it is better, but im with the people above...i couldnt see myself paying $100/mo or more for phone service. i need my phone to make calls, and sometimes send text messages. for unlimited text, 450 minutes, insurance, i pay $60.96/mo. even that i still feel like its too much
  14. unless it was someone i knew, i dont think i could do it...not to a stranger. now, if it was a friend of mine and i knew they needed a place for a few months or whatever, sure
  15. walmart $50 will get you brand new
  16. they get it done quickly/inexpensive?
  17. yep...he may get into some shit...i dont know if getting robbed means your life is in danger...but maybe since they went INTO his house, castle doctorine may help him but i would *hope* he doesnt, because those fuckers obviously deserved it.
  18. in some senses, it is good for people to get money back, because like stated, if you get an extra 1-200/mo throughout the year, its easy to just spend that with monthly bills/expenses. its a little nicer to get a lump sum at once but if i could control myself enough to just put that extra aside in a savings account until the end of the year, i might make $50-60 in interest. personally, i'd rather pass up the $50 and take the lump sum, so i know ill have it but for those getting many thousands of dollars, thats crazy. even with a bunch of kids
  19. ive actually been looking around for an extended life battery. my new HP g60 will get about 2 hours on the OEM battery, but ive found some 12 cells that claim 5-8 hours depending on settings...and you can charge them without them being plugged into the computer. about $60 on ebay up to like $110 from HP
  20. meant to update this a while ago...went back to akai hana with the g/f and her family (sister, sisters b/f and friend, and mom). funny that we actually got food a little quicker than when it was just the 2 of us. g/fs mom is a really picky eater, so i was surprised she even went...ordered some pork cutlet, so i cant really say she tried anything new, and the g/fs sister and her friend had chicken teriyake and the b/f had teriyake salmon. next time im not taking everyone out to an asian joint if they're going to eat shit i can get at applebees for half as much. although, for 6 people to eat, it was $150 with tip, so i didnt think it was too bad. sushi was pretty good again. one of my rolls the rice was a little dry, but i still filled up. ate a salmon roll w/ avocado and cream cheese, a yellow tail roll, buckeye roll, and the few pieces of salmon roll and buckeye roll my g/f didnt eat. i was STUFFED. gonna have to try this yoshi's place..
  21. here we go... How Assumable Home Loans Work With an assumable mortgage, existing homeowners transfer mortgage obligations to a qualified purchaser. Mortgage note assumptions were popular in the 1970s and 1980s and occurred without the lender's permission being required. Today, only VA and FHA loans are assumable without lender permission. A buyer may not be able to find a lower rate for a new mortgage, either because of current market conditions or due to the buyer’s poor credit history. Market rates fluctuate, and when the current market rate is higher, the lure of lower interest rates often drives home buyers to search for an assumable loan. When a home buyer takes on an assumable mortgage, he or she becomes responsible for the home seller’s existing mortgage. This means that the buyer assumes the mortgage obligations to include the established rate just as if the original loan had been issued to them. Benefits of Assumptions to Sellers In the case of an assumable mortgage transaction, the seller will also likely want to benefit from offering the buyer an opportunity to assume the loan. As a mutually beneficial agreement, both parties share the savings. If the purchase price for the home exceeds the mortgage balance, the buyer will likely need to make a sizeable down payment or secure a separate mortgage to make up the difference. The main benefit for the seller of offering a buyer the option of assuming the existing loan is the possibility of receiving a higher price for the house.
  22. on the balance of the loan. for example, i bought my house for 78k, if i pay it down to 60k and want to sell the house but want to sell it for 110k, the buyer would have to come up with the difference (50k)...i cant recall if they said you could do 2 mortgages on that, one at whatever prime rate is then, and the rest at the 5% i financed at...but i vivdly remember them saying its only the remaining balance. a little kick in the nuts i didn't know about until i got mine...they are going to send you a 1099-INT for the interest they paid you on that. HA!. i got one today for the $59.xx or so they paid me.
  23. ive got a kroger bag full of some old ones. ill pull out the better looking ones and set them aside.
  24. usually 8$ on a 10pk. buy a couple when we go to the grocery store...2 packs will usually last me about a month.
