if the food at edamame is like asian gourmet, i will check that off my list of places to go went to akai hana tonight. holy fuck it was good. got some of the gyoza (?) dumplings, fried...was good. also has salmon/avocado/cream cheese roll - $5.50, buckeye roll (sweet potato tempura, eel, and something else), $9.25ish, that was REALLY good, and also got yellow tail $5.... it was all amazingly good. ill go back, but probably not as often since sapporo is closer and just about as good good reccomendation though. i give it a 8.5/10. slow service (sat there for probably 10 minutes before anyone came up to take our drink order), and took a while for the food to come out.

i wish i could do 2 strips side by side, but i dont have enough room on the sides, where i need it most. and i can only do 3 sides of the window, because theres alarm sensors on one side of each window. ive got the 2 downstairs windows done and the big one in my front room. i dont feel the draft sitting on my couch now.

i got some different tape at home depot today. it looks/feels the same as the old stuff, but seems to work when i hit it with the hair dryer before i stick the plastic on. 2 windows down, 6 to go.

the tape sticks to the metal window surround (which is cold) just fine. its just the plastic sheet wont stick to the tape. its pissing me off

who's used these? is the tape in them worth a shit? i stopped by walmart tonight and picked up duck brand (like duck tape), and the double sided "sticky" tape was anything but. did not hold a 1/2oz piece of plastic up. and i made sure not to touch it to de-sticky it. tried to hit up walmart and meijer for some thick double sided sticky tape, but they had nothing. the plastic seemed fine, just the tape sucked.

im off all day tomorrow and saturday, and sunday morning, but im not sure when i'll be available this weekend. ive got a bunch of errands to run and places to go. just give me a ring and see if im home
