sure. im pretty sure theres one at the back of cushions. we actually had one of the 3 9ft diamons from cushions they took out about 7 years ago to put in the dart boards at my parents. then i they got divorced, i moved out, and they sold the house, and the pool table too. i haven't played but a couple times in the last year...but last weekend i went 2/3 against my dad who is a BCA certified instructor, so i was happy about that. friday night? im off work at 10 and i work ~1.5 miles from the bar

lol. i dont know how much you want to spend, but i just picked up an onkyo HTS-5100 7.1 1200w receiver/speaker/sub system for $350. it sucks because its HDMI passthru for audio...wish i woulda dropped the extra for the 6100 and had audio thru the HDMI

yeah. oh well. ill have to figure something out.

to be honest, it didnt seem like that was anything special he was doing...get someone you trust, lay down on a bit of an incline, put wet towel over your face, have person pour water over towel. oh yeah...make sure you have something to signal them to stop i'd try it to, but im having enough troubles breathing right now with allergies and no water going down my face at all. hahaha

rich - i'd hear what you're saying. i dont mind shutting it off and just busting out a lighter for the pilot the few times a month we'd fire it up

killjoy - it looks like yours requires a vent, which is going to be too much work for where i want to put it...my basement is actually a half basement, and when im standing down there, looking out the window, the ground outside is about at my mid-torso level. below that is foundation brick, then obviously dirt on the other side.

someone on another forum posted this... http://www.nraila.org/News/Read/NewsReleases.aspx?id=12135 so i guess, does state law > fed law in this case?

i guess its possible i guess that makes me lucky i keep my keys in my back left pocket, so if im sitting down, no one is going to get them without me knowing...and probably not even if i was standing. i might have to do this sometime. i know the perfect person. hopefully hes not reading this...

my question is, if he did somehow drive it home, how did he get back to the bar? is it close? i couldnt imagine it is if he drove there..,

i went to dublin, talked to prosecutor (70 in a 55 where it drops from 65 to 55 over on 33 on the west side, coming toward columbus). this was in like jan 07, basically said "look, ive been trying to clean up my driving habits, look at my record and you can see before, i didnt really give a hoot. i dont drive over here, honestly missed the speed drop sign" and asked him to plead it down to a non-moving violation he looked at my record, said he believed me (which i wasn't lying, i really had been trying to get shit off my record and not drive like a dick), put it in for "equipments violation" or something, and i think the ticket was $85, and i paid like $95...i dont think it was over $100 total, and i know it wasnt more than $10 more than what the ticket was written for

just browsing and saw this, got a kick out of it. maybe its just me.. http://columbus.craigslist.org/for/1168631829.html

yeah, kinda my point. if i cant keep it in my car at work, then i cant protect myself between my front door on my way to work, and any stops between then, and me getting back to my house at the end of the night. i should tell them if they're going to keep me from being able to protect myself between my house and work, then work and home, i expect them to protect me for those 4.8 miles. HA

anyone have one of these? how much are they, and should i expect to pay a lot to have it installed? im sure im going to have to get a plumber to do the gas line.. in my basement now, you go down the steps, theres a ~6x6 area, bathroom on right, laundry on left, then just past that, the room is about 23ft wide and maybe 12-14ft deep...the ceiling drops down about 8-10" pretty much in the middle of the room. i know that the main gas line is running through there, as the riser/whatever its called for the gas outside is right there. would i just need to get someone to come in, run a new pipe thru the dropped ceiling and then down to the fireplace? is there anything else (major) i would need beside the fireplace itself, a mantle, and the piping for the gas line?

its not a matter of hiding it. i can do that just fine. but if i find something that says "an employer cant restrict you from having a handgun locked in your car on their property", i could have that peace of mind instead of "what if theres that 1% chance maybe someone says something, and then they ask to look in my car"...obviously i could tell them to piss off, but that probably wouldnt help the situation ...and to be honest, i would have pegged you of being the LAST person to say that.

holy big-fucking-signature batman!

if im right in assuming i should be able to keep it in my locked car, does anyone have anything i can provide to this guy, i guess as CYA measure?

just a short history to lead up to the question... a couple months ago, i had a little issue at work. when i went to the range ~a year ago, a bunch of .22 bullets spilled in my trunk, down into the wheel well, etc. i had cleaned out my car, and since i had no where to put them at the time, threw them in my cupholder. they had been in there probably close to 6 weeks. well, someone, dont know if it was security, another associate, etc, saw them in my cupholder. i got called to HR to talk to the "safety services" manager, and ended up squashing it with him. basically told him what happened, he was a fellow gun enthusiast, and instead of sending me home for the day, he told me i could take them home, or have someone come pick them up...i wasnt trying to miss out on 1/2 hour of work, and i couldnt reach anyone to pick them up, so i jokingly asked him if he wanted them (30 or so bullets, so maybe 50 cents worth of ammo). he actually said he was fine with that since he was leaving. went out, gave them to him, he took them home/police station/whatever. issue squashed. now, the part of the conversation that im concerned with, is i was told that weapons, etc, are not allowed anywhere on company premises, EVEN THE PARKING LOT. now i could understand if im on foot going from the street on the east side of the lot and cut thru to the street on the west side, sure. but isn't my car = my property? can they legally tell me that i can not have my gun in the glove box, or anywhere for that matter, IN MY CAR?
