Ever heard the term "shit rolls downhill"? I didnt care who it was that was inconvenienced.

unfortunately, this is wrong. coinage is legal tender to pay to a public debt, but a private business can refuse your $100 bill and say they want payment only via rolled dimes, or vice versa. trust me, i looked into this heavily not long ago when i got a bullshit ticket. i ended up taking almost 65lbs of rolled pennies to the clerk of courts to pay the ticket. they were pissed, i lol'd. they had to take it though as they were government and not private. i wouldve unrolled them all, but i didnt have a full day off work to sit there while they counted 11,000 pennies. the ticket was $110, i asked them for an extension to pay because i had to order the pennies from my bank...they charged me an extra $10 for the extension...took them in, each roll had my name/address on them (albeit in the smallest font i could print). i paid the ticket with all pennies and the $10 late fee in cash (since i did ask for that) it took me a minute to find it (because i had to go through my facebook from MONTHS ago when i did this) but here ya go... "According to the Coinage Act of 1965, specifically Section 31 U.S.C. 5103, entitled “Legal tender,” which states: “United States coins and currency (including Federal reserve notes and circulating notes of Federal reserve banks and national banks) are legal tender for all debts, public charges, taxes, and dues.” Foreign gold or silver coins are not legal tender for debts. Public Debts: This means that any existing public debt, charge, tax, or dues held in the US can be paid in any form of US legal tender. That includes coins, small bills, etc.Feel free to walk into any courthouse or treasury office and pay a parking ticket in pennies, pay your property taxes in coins and small bills, and dump a truck bed full of nickels in front of the IRS Headquarters building. It is all legal payment and must be accepted by officials. Private Transactions: The legal tender law is a federal law and does not apply to private businesses, people, or organizations. These entities are able to make their own financial policies regarding the form of payment. This is why stores are able to refuse bills larger than $20 or similar monetary policies when performing transactions. This also only applies to existing debts, not the purchase of goods or services, which no federal law covers. Therefore, a store can refuse to sell you something if you walk in the store with a little red wagon full of pennies." http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash3/576173_10150791935124919_2008503739_n.jpg

I wouldnt, unless you really need it. I have one CC I use often enough, IIRC, i think i asked once to make a purchase, they turned me down. Now every time i use it for a larger purchase, they bump it up. Recently, it was an 8500 limit, i put the down payment for my car on it (5k, had the cash, got the points paid it off few days later, free $50)...got a letter they bumped it up to 10k. I think 2 years ago it might have been at 3k and those are all increases i have not asked for. Id say start using it for larger amounts and paying it to show you have a reason for a higher limit and that you can handle the balances youre charging. My other cards i dont use or rarely, and they never change. Only one i use often, my speedway card, approved for 2k in 06/07ish, and i think its still there. But i only use it for gas, pay it monthly, and its probably never been over $200 in a month, so no reason to bump it up. FWIW, im barely 27, and score as of last month is somewhere at like 770-780ish. Id have to find the stuff my bank sent when i applied for my car loan.

Right? Im glad someone beat me to it.

PF9 length 5.85 Height 4.3 width .88 Ruger LCP Length 5.16 Height 3.6 Width .82 From my quick online search - Pf9 loaded is 18.1oz, LCP is 11.95, which is about what my kitchen scale showed. So is it an enormous difference? No. But its a bit smaller all around, and weighs 1/3 less than the pf9. When its in my back jersey pocket with little support, i want it light as possible to not sag down and sway around as much as possible
-
:gabe: Sold my PF9 and bought my LCP for the fact its super tiny and light weight and fits in my back jersey pocket no problem.

look at my post towards the top. look at the granite there, and multiply that by 10-11. thats a fucking shit ton of granite. but no, i've not seen the house (and frankly, im surprised you have with what ive seen about how bad your wife has your nuts in a jar)...i guess anything is possible, that just sounds like a stupid large amount of granite.

350 sq/ft!?!?!? im not calling you a liar, but are you sure you measured that right? thats like the entire area of my 1/2 basement. with that much, you might have a hard time finding enough that matches. you can probably find the same kind of granite, but stone mart (which most places i checked got their stones from) only carrys like 4-6 slabs in each cut. they had like 8 different lots of the stone i wanted, but all had different look to them from being cut from a different section. the grains in the granite were huge differences.

Cant believe the responses thus far :lolguy: But yeah...that guy obviously had the car doing that long enough to decide to pull his phone out to start recording. Id have probably done the same and called it in. Thats some BS.

Theyll discount if you install too. I needed a 4x3' piece for my island, and they wanted to charge me full price, and i told them id be picking it up and taking home myself. She dropped it from like $550 to $400, and had it done in a few days.
-
my dad looked into having it done and it was cheaper just to get straight granite. i dont understand how they pitch it as being better. from what i saw, it fits over existing counters. which would make height differences at your stove, etc. its not that hard to rip out existing counters and new granite they just put some liquid nails down and set it into place. check out stone city LLC. they're over by the budweiser factory. had my whole kitchen done for like $1700 installed with an undermount SS sink.. i think i had around 33-34 sq/ft? maybe a little more w/ the backsplash? and they were only at my house for like an hour installing it, and that included cutting the backsplash to length in my front yard. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1191710&postcount=34

Vodka - Svedka is where its at. But since this is a beer thread, heres what i've been wanting to try and finally stopped to get tonight - http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn1/527308_10151221628329919_1007709970_n.jpg Was pretty good. reminded me more of those dried banana chips than banana bread. Would i drink it again? Yeah. Would i BUY it again? not for full retail price. That bottle was $4. Roommate says a local bar sells it for $1.50-$2 on half price night. Id do that. My other new favorite is wild blue. Taste nothing like beer, its a purple color almost like wine, 8% ABV, amd after a few, im on my ass. $8.50/6pk at meijer, and i hear they now have wild black and another im gonna try. Excellent stuff. Brought some over for me and my brother for my dads bday dinner, just so happened our grandma made homemade blueberry pie for desert. It was perfect http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/IMAG3368_zpsbf3e5f2c.jpg -
Jeffro is right...i had a sigma 9mm as my first handgun and sold that piece of shit with the quickness. got an M&P, hit up ronnie at boom boom tactical, 4.5# trigger, crowned barrel, polished feed ramp, and had my ex's grandpa (a gunsmith) put night sites on it. Fucking love it. Dont miss the sigma one bit
