All of the reasons that Jordan stated above and more. I love guns, they are a work of art and I see this thing and it puts a smile on my face which very little does anymore. Can you shoot a man sized target at 1000 yards? I dont know if I can but I am sure going to find out. Why build a race car, buy a lambo/ferrari/GTR, because its bad ass and because you can, all I can say bout it. As far as the gun operating system, its a gas impingement system. Looked at both it and gas piston and the military kept their SR25s at gas imping systems it was ok for my setup. The gun is basically a super sized AR15, tears down identical, just beefy parts. Now my bushmaster feels like a damn toy compared to this. Oh and it weighs 17 pounds unloaded yeah fucking work out!! Oh and end of hand guard on gas system has adjustments for firing supressed or normal, suppressor will be the next addition

So I keep getting mail updates and now there saying 1st to 2nd week of april, cant find a single one in stock anywhere. Seems like an awesome bi pod, cant see a reason I would not like her. Working on getting certified NRA now, have been assisting with CCW classes, past month, as soon as NRA training is complete will be certified to do so. Stolen 5.0 has already taken it, he may chime in later. We both took the IDPA range officer training bout a month ago. Pretty good shit, tons of knowledge, cant wait for good weather so we can actually RO some 3 gun/IDPA events.

I use Hornady TAP rounds in my 9mm and 45, nice velocity, almost no muzzle flash and will inflict serious damage upon impact of near anything. Cycle great in my TRP 45 and flawlessly in my XDM. Good advice above though, its pricey to run a few boxes thru for testing but if they dont work it could cost ya alot more. Best advice, grab a few boxes and go to the range, get some real world feedback.

Hey guys, looking at picking up a scope for my 308, most likely a LWRC Repr but I am not sure on which optic setup to go with. Right now I am leaning twards a leupold Mark 4 tactical, in a 6.5 to 15ish magnification. Is there any other type of optic brand wise, feel like leupold I am just paying for a name. Looking at Mil-dot reticule, use is gonna be 100 yards out to 1000 Thanks for any input guys.

Thanks for all the input guys, was at the range all day yesterday and got to shoot a buddies LWRC REPR and I am leaning in this direction. Gun fired excellent, simple operation and I have used AR platforms for years so nothing new as far as manipulation. You can pick up Magpul mags for 15 bucks each and to me just seemed like a better route to go. The M21 seemed like a good option but again, after alot of research it just does not seem to suit the need I really want it to. I like to take my toys out and shoot, come back, clean em up and wait for the next range day. I will keep ya posted on which way I am gonna head as soon as I figure it out.

I just keep going over it and I really like the m1a ebr setup as far as a long range platform. I aint looking for a 100 percent precision rifle, more just something to shoot 100 to 1000 and can put a couple on target I would be happy. Gonna try out a bolt savage tomarrow and hopefully LWRC Reaper as well see what I think of em.

As the day gets closer to having the cash I really do wonder if this is a good way to go, I really like the M1A/M21 setup and really like the EBR setup but I dont want to get into a huge headache keeping it going. Throw up suggestions for a good 308 caliber rifle for similar price. Life is hard, lol.

Rounding up the cash now but got a tough decision to make, got a hell of a deal on a M21 from a local shop, say 2800 out door for an M21, from my research damn good deal. Originally was obsessed with M1A national match till I came across the M21 so I need some advice on the differences and should I spend the extra for the M21. End goal will be an EBR chassis setup with most likely a leupold mark 4 scope, wanting to get into shooting 1000 yards, not daily but every now and again, basically a distance rifle. Sell me on one or the other, really leaning twards the M21 for rarity as well as its an M21, come on but can I justify the extra??? Thanks

Hey guys, I have been having some trouble tracking down a barrell for my Winchester Pump 1300 defender. Have a smooth bore slug barrell now and I have been using it for 3 gun competitions but I need a tighter pattern to pick up some speed. Looking for a 28" to 32" length, with choke tubes, and not sure if they exist but I am hoping to find one ported. If not I am sure you can have it ported any good gunsmith. I get a little aperture, shutter speed but wanting to get involved with that aspect of that end of it more. What should I look for in a glass, from what I have seen its like you said Nikon/Canon, both seem to be of decent quality. What body/glass should I start out looking for, I dont want to drop a ton of cash if it dont interest me but I am pretty certain it will become a new hobby. Thanks for the info

Hey guys, been checking out a few options online and in stores trying to find a camera that would suit my needs, looking to spend between 400 and 700 bucks. More of a multi-use camera, would be taking pictures from top fuel/funny cars down to landscapes. Just kinda looking to be pointed in a good direction as far as quality and ease of use. Couldnt wait for the Springfield huh, lol, nice looking gun, Ill have to pit it against my TRP, I would suggest a trigger job also, never liked the kimber trigger feel. On a side note I own 6 kim pro tach mags and they function flawless in my TRP and look good as well. Friend of mine used same mags in his full rail TRP and they wouldnt release when the mag release was pushed. He uses wilsons now, I still use my kim pro tach mags with extended slam pads and I love them. Ill bring out the TRP one day and we will play
