Maybe its just me, but why were the cars running at the drag strip starting back before the water box??? Getting a running start or what, I am confused. 1 way to up those MPH and ETs. Looked like a rough bump outta the water box to the track.

My bro jumped the timing belt in his car and bent some valves, thought I would hit up on here and see if I could find a replacement set or a good deal on a head for the 2.0 litre non turbo. Hit me up if ya got anything, looking for as cheap as possible, hes had the car for a long time and it has not ran for alot of it. He was told is was a pile, nobody listens, story for another day, thanks for any replies guys.

This is the dumbest thing I have heard of to date, beside paying an extra 10 dollars at Norwalk to sit down to watch the NHRA race. Here is the plan, drop any venue that does not have sufficient run off/shut down time, now will the loss of revenue make them step up for the proper build or out of the NHRA loop totally. As stated, a 1000 ft race would not have helped Kaletta, watch the vid, motor tossed around 1000, little later perhaps. Since I have been into drag racing, its been nothing but quarter mile, 8th mile is fun but I have never put any faith nor thought into 8th mile speeds and ETs. Feels like a warm up, not a race, its over before it starts.

hahahha, I think I saw your problem, bad driver gasket, replace that and youll run 9s. Glad to see ya on here, bout time.

As stated, get yourself some type of cold air intake, reprog the PCM, T stat, exhaust and pulley. Real reliabe driver and their are fun, I took mine to low 13s pretty easy but ticks on the clock got pretty tough after that. I love my GTP, been a great car, runs great, nice supercharger whine and exhaust note. Lots of looks from people who dont really know bout em, good luck, oh and on tranny number 3.

I am getting rid of it, just had to put it back together first, redid the interior, rebuilt the top end of the motor and a new blower with an intense hub, blah blah blah, she runs strong though, powdercoat the wheels and new front clip and hood and up for sale. Bump for the ride though, it is a damn nice car, good luck sellin, get at me when your back this way.
