The S-Video cable has NOTHING to do with the sound. You can run the sound to the 5.1 and run the s-video to the tv. Like I said, no reason to go through the theater with the s-video. With my DVD player I run an optical to my 5.1 and component's to the TV.

I will still just go straight to the TV with the S-Video cable and skip the theatre

The cable box/DVR should be an HDTV box, so it should have an HDMI and a component out as well. I would hook at least the component straight to the TV. There is no reason to run it through the receiver. S-Video is analog, so is RGB, HDMI is the only digital to digital connection. Running it through the theater will do nothing

You aren't making any sense... are you hooking the DVD player up with HDMI and the cable box with s-video? Do you have a seperate cable box and over the air HDTV antenna?

I should be the master at getting the puke smell out of cars, seeing as how I did it 4 times in 3 months a few years ago. First you need to do exactly what you did. Next, you need a carpet cleaner with bacteria in it that eats smell particles. Look for a carpet cleaning powder with active enzymes. Next they sell this stuff at Meijer, I can't remember what it's called, but it is this tub of waxy stuff that absorbs smells. You buy one of those and put it under the seat. Next run some resolve through the carpet. Then run a small carpet cleaner over it, and you should be good to go

Yeah, it's pretty stupid cause they fuck up everyone's boats, but they are seriously protected. Some of the people that live on the lake will call the cops on you for getting into them. I'd watch your ass doing that. It is a federal crime to ruin any of those plants, they are protected. My friend lives in a big ass house by Herron Bay, and her neighbors drove their boat through the pads, a ranger, sherrif, whatever, caught them doing it. They have a court date next week

Yes, COMBO, which is a part of OMBA, is actually in charge of the mountain bike trails at alum, they built them, they maintain them, and they patrol them. If COMBO says the trail is closed, the trail is closed and if you get caught riding it when it is closed, you WILL be ticketed. BTW, I am a member of COMBO, I suggest anyone who rides a lot to join, the dues money helps maintain the trails

A helmet has saved my life 2-3 times, yes wear a helmet. You can be the most seasoned trail rider, go off your bike and smash your head. Just like people who ride their motorcycle's without helmets are called "donor's" we call people who mountain bike without helmets "donor's"

Because the techs at the Trek store are trained directly by Trek. Plus all their techs are certified, can't say that about all the stores in Columbus

the Trek Store Columbus is having a demo day at Alum Creek Thursday. They will have 2 Gary Fisher bikes there that you can ride. a F/S bike and a hardtail
