actually the laser procedure is considered more humane (of a procedure) than spaying is. The kitty bleeds a bit afterwards, but other than that they are fine. DO NOT get the surgery, that is an actual amputation of the claws, the laser just burns the claws really far back then they cauterize a flap of skin over it so that they never grow back. Edit- Take the cat to Refugee Canyon in Hebron, they do the laser for the fronts for about $150

A hard check will dent your score about 5 points. The getting denied makes no difference over getting approved for all those banks, the point is the number of hard checks will put a pretty large dent in your credit. Also, creditors don't like seeing tons of runs on your report because they feel there is something wrong. Getting denied does not go anywhere on your credit report.... Also, the lower score only stays on your credit report for 6 months after the hard check. Have you ever even seen a credit report? Also, using too much of your available credit will also lower your score (revolving accounts)

ummm... yes you do, a hard inquiry will lower your score, not by much, but it does, many checks really lower it. A consumer check will not hurt your score (your free credit checks each year)

Umm, the point of taking the backup tape home is to keep it off site. It is part of a contingency plan that all government agencies use. If the building is destroyed, a fireproof safe isn't going to help them keep running the very next day. It isn't the intern's fault for what happened beyond leaving it in his car, but at the same time, it is a shit job for someone to do, and it is always low man on the totem pole that takes the tapes home at night because they are forced to be first there and last to leave.
