Ok, so long story short, my friend had some guy hit her, cops come, take police report, for some reason the BMV fucked something up and her license comes up suspended. Cops impound her car, take her license away from her. Fast forward to today, she calls the BMV in her hometown and they say "oops, yep we screwed up, go to Alum Creek BMV and get your license renewed". So far it has been a $250 mistake on the BMV's, since that is what she paid to get her car out of impound. Now she needs documents to get a new license. We looked at the list of doucments, and she needs a new Social Security card and a new Birth Cerificate. Does she just go to the state house and go to "records" or something like that? Think she can get her license card back from the Westerville PD and use that as a form of ID?
