Yeah, but with the Tivo, my brother in law just has his hooked up to his server, as well 2 160 GB hard drives. So he records shows for me on channels I don't get, or shows I miss, uploads them to his server, then I just download them directly. Can you do that with the other DVR's? or is he a nerd that built his own kick ass setup

They must have given you a bad box. Mine has component, s-video, and rca jacks, as well as coax cable jacks. Mine is just hooked up through the coax cable jack and my picture is sharp, call them and request a better box.

you do realize that most places, to do JUST renters insurance, it is about $150/year

Ours is just a V8, and it gets really decent gas mileage, we got around 17 MPG pulling a horse trailer on the freeway. But wanting to mod it is a good reason too.

What type of pulling are you going to be doing that you need a diesel? We have a Chevy 2500 HD with a 6 liter that tows a 30 ft 4 horse gooseneck trailer with no problems at all. Hell, you can even set the cruise control. Just wondering because diesels are a lot more expensive
