  1. This setup is already wired and ready to drop in. Just make your connections and bump bump bump!

This is the setup out of my Mustang (R.I.P. :( ) and then into my Explorer for a little while.

They sound GREAT, the amp is perfectly matched to the subs and I love the way this sounded. I can't fit them in my F-250. :(

Two Rockford Fosgate Punch 10's pre-installed in a hatchback box with a Profile "California Jam" amp.

    Make offer. smile.gif

  2. I was the same way. You need to find some way to challenge him. I couldn't (and still couldn't) give a flying shit about school because it was boring, and for the most part, useless. The only shit I took intrest in was shit I liked, and at 5th grade there wasn't much.

I actually flunked the 6th grade. Not because I'm stupid, not because it was too hard, but because it was boring and I felt it to be useless - so I didn't do shit. Bribes don't do shit, taking stuff away doesn't do shit. I was always smarter than my mom, who once tried to deactivate the TV with a lock. I simply "hotwired" our TV so that I could watch it.

Have you tried having him take an offical IQ test? I'll bet that he isn't stupid. I'll bet that he just doesn't give a shit because he isn't being challenged. He doesn't take an intrest because there is nothing intresting to him.

You will cook him a bad pot-pie? Not use enough fabric softener in his wash, causing him to be uncomfortable?

The higher the rev, the larger the difference between the horsepower and torque numbers. When you are talking about a larger displacement motor with the same number of pistons, such as my 2.4, the longer stroke prevents it from revving as high as the 1.8 honda, therefore keeping the horsepower lower than the torque number. It's all about the equation to measure horsepower, like Joel was talking about. My redline is 5600 RPM, obviously it stops making power well before that.

I know why it makes less torque, but I wanted to know who is defying the laws of JDMYO on CR. tongue.gif

You are the only one that has had a problem so far, so shut the fuck up before I do it for you.

My intentions for this thread is that I see lots of dyno threads from hopped up imports. Most of them have much more horsepower than torque, which I understand why it is so. However, I wanted to know if any of you produced more torque than horsepower. It just didn't seem like the trend.

Your Merkur uses a Ford 2.3l, you don't count. smile.gif

Mike, good point! I hadn't considered some of the light trucks. The 4.0l V6 in my Expy was a Mazda motor and made more torque than horsepower.
