Of course -- you're all his extended family too.

So the morning update is, pretty much the same as yesterday. Small progress which leaves us hopeful, but still may require surgery -- we should know on that soon. They think he'll be on the ventilator at least until Thursday. They're starting to dial back the sleeping meds he's on, so I am sure that's going to go well for him being awake with tubes in his mouth, ha. Thanks for your continued support.
  3. Folks -- with regret, we're cancelling the spring track day. With Anthony's medical situation and very low registrations so far (17), we just don't need the additional stress right now. We know it's disappointing, but we appreciate everyone's understanding. We'll be issuing refunds as soon as I figure out how to do that... standby.

He's still sedated, and likely will be for several more days. However his condition is improving and it sounds like the immediate danger is getting lower. Thanks for your support, and I know he appreciates it more than you'd think. Gruff fucker still likes to know people appreciate his grumpy ass.

Correction -- he is NOT yet in surgery, just been evaluated but they're not sure yet what they'll do. He's currently sedated and they're just watching right now.

FYI Anthony made it through the night, he's going into surgery today. No change in his status.

He had an episode in Oct, but nothing like this. He's been changing his habits since. This was a surprise.

Anthony (my brother, founder of CR) has been admitted to OSU (James) in critical for pancreatitis. If you're the praying kind, now is a good time. Please keep him in your thoughts. Will be a long night for him.
  10. You sure it's just the broken seat back? If it won't stay back all the way from the hinge, it's more than just the back being broken/needing welded, the latching mechanism is broke too. My drivers seat has a mild case of this. Been on my mind to take it apart and see if I can fix it, I hear it's not hard. For your part, if you don't want to fix it yourself, call a few upholstery shops. Cold calling a few of the ones here in Pittsburgh that say they do classic car stuff, they all knew exactly what my problem was which is a good sign.

  15. Yea, the angle and the camo make it look WAY longer than it really is. This image makes it look 18' long, but it's not nearly as long as it looks. The NYC DOT spec for "BUS ONLY" (you can see the Y on the road) is 8' tall. [https://www1.nyc.gov/html/dot/downloads/pdf/nycdot_highwaydesign_typicalmarkings.pdf last page]

  18. Speak for yourself. We have a minivan and my F150 Super Crew with a 5.5' bed and I wish it was at least the 6.5', and next time around I might special order it with the 8'!
  19. The Gladiator is seriously looking awesome. Watched DeMuro's video yesterday and I was really left impressed. If I ever wanted to downsize a bit from my F150 (and sell my Vert :gabe:) I could get one and satisfy both needs in one. Cool looking truck. I agree with you and hope Ford keeps it on a high payload -- a Raptor version would be awesome too.
  20. What killed this thing was 1) It was ugly as fuck, the Envoy already was a bit of an acquired taste, and the body lines just never fit the XUV and was even worse because of the elongated platform. 2) They never should have sold the XUV with the I6, should have been V8 only. I had and LOVED the I6 in my Trailblazer, but it was not enough engine for the elongated platform. 3) The whole XUV thing was honestly just not that great an execution, but it was a great idea. People with them on the TB forums used to complain that they just weren't a great SUV or "truck". Fine for transporting a tall plant or a single bike without taking the wheels off, but not really good at anything. For a success story, see: Avalanche. Ford could nail the Bronco not as a truck-like thing, but with the broad appeal of Wrangler-like features in a bigger platform. Wrangler essentially owns that market but I know a lot of folks that would own one if they were a bit bigger.
