  1. I think I would stay away from that 2nd one. Why would some performance shop sell a car that already have a swap for that car...
  2. This is a freaking scam... 1st sign is they are going on vacation and trying to sell a house and need $2500 deposit? w/o even looking into details. "would you be willing to put down a deposit of 2500 for us to take it off the market and hold it for you?" i think that is what you should focus on if you take it to small claims court. Have documented evidences, i.e. photos of for sale signs at the location,/ ads w/ for sale sign after you have gave them the money, etc.. Also do a credit check on your selves to make sure they "Verified" your credit info, if they didn't they lied to you. They manipulated words and persuaded your wife(more vulnerable figure of two i'm assuming) with the intent of taking a deposit and never trying to sell the house On the side note, prank calling idea is a bad idea, it would potentially make it harder for him to get a hold of them.
  3. what color is this? any additional options that comes with the car? ie. floor mats, hatch cover, trunk plastic piece?
  4. +1 I almost got a job from them bout 2 yrs ago... until they told me the training is for like 3 months and you don't know which shift you are working from week to week.
  5. http://www.copart.com/c2/home.html Try that website for r32, as long as you have a friend in the car dealer business that might hook you up and don't mind salvage titles, you can probably find a very nice project. BTW I'm kind of in the same boat as you... I hate car payments!!!!
  6. My experience at quiznos was ok... the cashier didn't know what to do and took us like 10 minutes in and out and their was no one at the store except me and my friend. on the side note. I hate franchises. If you go just about anywhere in the US you see the same stores/ restaurants in similar positions, especially in the midwest. Every town is just as same as the one you live in. Why keep feeding/ contributing to the corporate greed that only get the same group of people rich. Franchise is what is killing local businesses and the so called the land of opportunity. Small businesses FTW!!
  7. carry your friends osu id lol Or how bout buy a parking pass at CSCC and get your morning walk.
  8. Its great time to buy an s2000, prices have came down tremendously along with other cars too I guess. check out s2ki.com if you havn't already. You can find a relatively low millage ones for 16-19k Driving wise, this car is so much fun to drive. Every time I took it out on a test drive I had a smile on my face. Watch out for whiny transmission. Try to stay away from 00-01 as the plastic on the soft top gets very foggy if it hasn't been maintained well. watch out for high insurance cost... I got quoted around mid $200, which turned me off to the car
  9. I'd go with a fit. My gf has one and she loves it! Cheap insurance, good gas mileage, low maintenance. Also when you fold the seats down it has tons of room.
  10. I wouldn't accept cashier's check/ MO, Cash only. Draw up a contract, with copies of both parties Licenses/ssn and get it notarized.
  11. karwash off cemetery near leap rd. $5 and towel dried.
  12. I actually heard that on the news not to long ago. For some reason citi's been lowering my APR and increasing my limit. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=96154274
  13. damn my car is is on number 2 of most ticketed! In reality I think those SUV needs to get ticketed more, I don't know how many times I've seen suburban mom's pull out infront of people doing -10 to -20 miles below speed limit expecting people to slow down for them
  14. lol for some reason that truck reminded me of the monster wheeled camaro off broad/ phillipi
  15. i saw a semi in the ditch which i thought it was strange... 270 s near broad st. I got stuck trying to pull out of driveway... living in the cul de sac ftl!! They need to have mandatory winter driving classes for Ohio, so only those who passes can drive during a storm.
  16. They had an iphone on there too during xmas time.I'm hoping they have one again pretty soon
  17. I'd say not. $3000 for a pair of rear seats that you probably rarely use. Also think of all the unwanted attention you'll get.
  18. does this work with verizon only? or is it any sim card ?

  22. I hate my job, everyday I sit at my work station, I pick up the keyboarding thinking how much I want to break it over the supervisor's head!!
  23. From my experience separate needs from wants, it seems like you have this concept down, but your wife doesn't. The best way to reinforce this idea I think is to cash your paychecks, except for money that you know you are going to spend on to pay bills (car payment, insurance, electric, water, phone, + saving(hide it from your wife if you have to)) with the cash you have left, spend only that amount for your groceries, gas, misc until your next paycheck and remember NEEDS before wants. Once you conserve and sacrifice enough you can probably start saving more. Also don't care about how other may think of your spending or your looks/ keeping up trends, because they are all temporary.
