  1. College Avenue between 12th and Woodruff. There are some nice twisties there, just try not to cross over the double yellow.
  2. Every other day for about two weeks now there have been two cops hiding behind the concrete wall where there is a split. One guy clocks, the other guy hunts you down. Then another 200-300 yards up there sits another pair, getting the people who think they got away. First pair, the guy was pointing at me but the detector didn't go off. His partner already had someone nailed, so I am guessing he was just waiting. Second set I got nailed with laser right as I came around the corner. I was doing 72-73 but he didnt budge. Just becareful in that area...I have seen them there between 7am-9am. Also the same setup on the opposite side (Eastbound) during lunchtime. Good luck!
  3. Must.resist.urge.to.flame... graemlins/nonono.gif
  4. Thanks, Anthony. Fowler and Jason, you can eat each other's asses Wait a minute, you have a point graemlins/doh.gif
  5. Hob I printed a bunch of those pictures at work so you can use them for flyers or whatever. Our color printer was $30,000, it does a nice job. I want royalties for using my picture mafaka!
  6. That would be it. I doubt your automatic transmission is built to withstand double the torque/hp it was originally designed for. I know Ford sucks, but their T-5 trannies are actually pretty decent...and after 8-10 bottles of powershifting a 120 shot through mine, it is starting to get very angry at me. Good luck though, spray owns.
  7. The johnson rod gets em every time.
  8. Talk to Eric (Driver) he has a pretty nice setup with the battery in the trunk...although I think he has an Optima as well.
  9. Jason, What you are hearing about is when the MAF is rotated 90 degrees (I believe clockwise.) It is rumored that some have done this mod and it has improved their performance. To do that, the car would actually have to lean out a bit...if it ran richer, it would also feel lame. Technically it shouldn't make any difference, but some feel that the MAF reads differently once rotated. I think it is a myth. my $.02. Mike
  10. Thanks for the info, I bust ass by there just about every day going to work or something. Time to slow it down a bit,
  11. How do you see a cop shaking in his head at night when you flew by at 112? You got some Superman eyez or something graemlins/bubbrubb.gif
  12. Damn I wonder what car Geoff drives? Nice info.
  13. Do not get Kuhmo's unless you want to cut 2.8 60 foot times. They last long, but hook for shit.
  14. Damn I think I was just dumb again...maybe I was thinking of the Citgo instead of the Sunoco...who knows. Someplace out there will have some. I shoulda never dropped out of elementary school.
  15. Sunoco at 70E and Hamilton Road. 100 unleaded, 110 leaded, 4.xx/ gallon I think. You can also get C16 at some place on 11th just off campus, but don't go there, it has most likely been sitting stagnant for over a year.
  16. DO NOT get Kuhmo Ectsa Supras. A friend of mine has 245/50/16's and they leave a burnout patch about 4 inches wide, even at 20 psi. They are a super hard tire, and a waste of money.
  17. I would definitly go with a bottle warmer and a guage, also maybe a fuel pressure regulator if you dont already have one, and some colder sparkplugs. Back the timing out a few degrees, run some 93 octane, and spray away!!! Mike
  18. Just push the clutch in before you try to shift. Problem solved. I know, I am an graemlins/asshole.gif
  19. Thanks Matt. Hope your bro like's how it performs. Let me know if he has any problems or if he (or you) need anything else installed. Mike
  20. Matt, I'll give you a hand. I am pretty sure I know you through mutual friends anyway. You know Jessica H? Cool, if this is you! Air Intakes are cake to do. Let me know if you want some help. Mike
  21. Try these: http://www.2carpros.com/makes/pontiac/sunfire.htm http://www.j-body.org/ Do a search on j-body, some things will come up. Sounds like it is a bitch to do, I would take it to the dealer and see what they charge. Mike
  22. the pedal setup is awful, and even though i've tried heel and toe downshifting, it won't work until i make some pedal adjustments. the gas pedal is just too low to really hit when you're into the brake pedal. i'm hoping to alleviate the situation before we head to mid-ohio this coming spring though. once i get this all sorted out, my driving under braking should smooth out nicely... new pedals are in the works as well, mine are too small, mounted too far apart, and too slippery. i've just got a million little projects lined up for this car don't i? </font> There is a mod you can do to raise the pedal pretty easily, costs about a dollar and takes about 10 minutes. It raised my pedal about 2 inches. PM me if you want the directions
  23. My check engine light didn't come on until about 50 miles. When I have reset my ECU, it took about 10-15 before it came back on again. And if you think your x-pipe sounds good now, wait about another 200-300 miles. Once it is coated with exhaust residue it won't echo as much and it will just sound really strong. Now just get the rest of the exahust system and it will be sweet. Hope everything is running ok... Mike
  24. I have the Haynes manual for the 2000 Mustang...I'll look through it although I am not sure I can help. You are welcome to borrow it, just let me know! Mike Oh and you can reset your ECU by just unhooking your battery for a few minutes and then hooking it back up, but the check engine light will come back on after about 15 miles. You need to get a pair of MIL elims. [ 27 December 2002, 06:48 PM: Message edited by: mjeosu27 ]
