See THIS THREAD for suggestions on 1911's. If you know anyone who has access to CMP, or if you can come up with the credentials yourself to qualify, you can't go wrong picking up a service grade M1 Garand from there. Anywhere else you'll be overpaying.

Awesome, I love offroading and carnage, as long as it's not me. Use the macro setting on the camera for those close up shots.

Tell em to fuck off.

No shit, how is it multi millions to execute someone? Who's profiting from it?

I figured as much. I agree, stupid idea to finance a kit car. I didn't realize these could be bought part by part though. The site makes it seem like you need to buy one of the two kits as a whole. Yah, I figured anyone could do that if they desperately needed to finance one. Hell you can get a line of credit for just about anything if you're willing to pay the typically higher interest rate.

Cant decide if you want the droid or the iphone?

$150 a month has to be for the Unlimited plan ($120)+ Data package ($30). -
Don't worry, you probably won't get the sarcasm in that one either.

Yes, they are also the only ones who can't read thick sarcasm on internet forums.

Got a story for you. Theres a fish. He sees a fly above the water. Says to himself if that fly drops 6 inches he can jump and have himself a fly dinner. Theres a bear. He sees that fish. Says to himself if that fly drops and that fish jumps, I can swing out, grab that fish, and have myself a fish dinner. Theres a hunter. He sees the bear. Says to himself if that fly drops, that fish jumps, and that bear swings out, I can pull up my gun and have myself a bear dinner. Theres a mouse. He sees the cheese sandwich in the hunters pocket. Says to himself if that fly drops, the fish jumps, the bear swings, the hunter pulls up and that sandwich falls out, I can run over and have myself a cheese sandwich dinner. Theres a cat. He sees that mouse. Says to himself if that fly drops, fish jumps, bear swings, hunter pulls, and mouse runs, I can pounce the mouse and have myself a mouse dinner. Well, it all goes to plan. Fly drops, fish jumps, bear swings, hunter pulls, mouse runs... except the cat trips on a log and rolls into the pond getting no dinner. You know what the Moral of the story is? Every time a fly drops 6 inches, a pussy gets wet.

Punch line FAIL. "Are you that string that keeps coming in here asking for a beer?" "Nope, I'm a'fraid not" Just saying "Fraid not" doesn't compel the twist of the punch line.

Is there financing for these things? Or is it an out-of-pocket expense?
-
Ok, I admit. RSC, TCS, ESC et al are great additives to the vehicles out there today. I do agree they keep the idiots who don't know how to drive alive.

I've never read of someones fuel injection going nuts and auto accelerating someones vehicle to their death. Since you sound so know-all about electronic control, why don't you save us the time of research and backup what you are inferring that you know and we don't. What does EPC and fly-by-wire, and all the other electronic throttle controls do for us other than add a middle-man of control between the user and the throttle? Obviously adding an uncontrollable complex failure point inline of what used to be direct control is working well for Toyota. Does it give us more power? more gas mileage? super strength? I find it gives me delayed down shifts, delayed acceleration from a stop and generally less feel of control of the acceleration over a simple cable. That's all the real world research I need to know. I don't need some triple degree, Harvard educated, black belt wearing, Chuck Norris look alike to tell me how great something they invented so they could make their salary that year and over complicate my vehicle all in the quest of making driving less controlled by me and more controlled by a black box of electronic FAIL. Maybe you do though. And that proves my electronic FAIL point. If I were to die because of a throttle control issue, I wan't to die because I neglected to take care of my throttle cable, linkage, peddel etc and it be my own fault. Not because someone left out some very important fail safe code structure, or a diode popped on an circuit board.

Suffer from year round allergies, then you can bitch!
-
And this is what happens when the auto makers go to everything-electronic. Seriously, whats the benefit of having electronic throttle control? Fucking cables have been working fine for a century now.

this is how lesbian encounters start
RangerTurbo replied to Sturg1647545502's topic in Pics and Vids
Well, I can too. A lot of them get "crazy" if/when they leave the religion. We have a few ex-Mormon friends that are, well, very open. But from BYU, you're looking at a .003% chance of that. -
Maybe it was down from $1800 then. It was for the full unit. I was blown away by how cheap they had it marked down to. I kick myself now for not jumping on the deal.

And it's BYU. No chance of that Lesbian fantasy ever materializing. Well, ever being talked about or admitted anyways. -
Damn, that sucks. But my credit score is maxed and can't go any higher. Maybe I should do what you did so I can then get a sense of accomplishment by watching my credit score rise again. :nutkick:

So what you're saying is the Eris will be a reliable kick ass phone? Because that's what I'm leaning towards, both for function and form.

If you're not going to use them because they are made in China then that's one thing. But as far as I knew, all the Kobalt hand tools still carried a lifetime warranty (like Craftsman) the last time I bought any. I have the "through ratchets" too and LOVE them. I use them more than any tool I have in my tool box. My local Lowes had that Kobalt Stainless Steel tool box with the stereo and fridge for $899 down from ~$1300 I think it is when they were clearencing all their last year model stuff. Plus if I signed up for their card it was another 10 or 15% off. I should have bought it then. Luckily my brother in law drives a Snap-On truck. I need to start going through him more as Craftsman really is starting to lack quality, and if Kobalt is becoming more and more China made then I'll have to.

Actually. I'm looking into the HTC Droid Eris, HTC HD2, Motorola Droid. Most of all, I'm digging the Eris. Anyone have opinions on them? -

I'm confused with all the phone names being thrown around. Smokin, what phone did you pick up? I can't decide if I want a phone with a hardware keyboard, or if I can tolerate a virtual keyboard (like the Google phone appears to have?) -
Your work doesn't have butt-gaskets? Wipe it off, install butt gasket, sit, poop.

I was always under the impression that the fingers had to be over top of eachother and the circles had to cross paths, not apart like in Skinners video, then it becomes impossible to do.
