I have an asphalt driveway that needs repaired. There are major cracks and there is chunks you can pick up. Id try and repair it myself but Im not home enough to do it, and I believe I would need a professional to do it the right way the first time. Driveway is about 10 feet wide street level and 50 feet long and spreads to probably 15 wide at the garage. Any recommendations on anyone that can recap a asphalt driveway in the Galloway area?

They didn't cut the days I work they cut my pay and yes 20% is a lot. Came out to a 30k pay reduction for me, but unlike everyone else Im not quitting. You have to fire me to get me to leave the desert.

Was in the Air Force too and if you had over a 32 inch waist they would dock 5 points for every inch over. So if you were 6'8'' like my friend it was just an unfair way to measure you. If you got a 70 you failed your PT test. They did change this but still don't have a perfect system. What most fail to see with these stricter PT standards and the military cracking down on ethical standards is that they simply cant afford to keep their service members so theyre purging people and cutting out the fat. So they build up these UIFs on you and eventually they have enough to not necessarily kick you out but ask you not to reenlist. With that said the good people stay in and the people who don't give a shit get kicked out pretty much 90% of the time. I haven't seen to many stellar military members get forced out, most were pretty much ready to get out.

POR 15 that's what I used as well.

I had this issue and I just sand blasted and used frame paint on the frame and underside of the body. It was a ton of work and without a lift or rotisserie its even more of a pain in the ass. Im lucky to have a family that owns a body shop so it was me just covering supplies and me doing the labor. Most people Ive seen that do it themselves typically just wire wheel everything they can and use bedliner.

Im overseas so its not an option, so I rather just have someone check it out. It idles fine and revs fine, its just loud and not much go.

Your probably right about the 400hp at crank, its just what the crate dealer said it could possibly make but it doesn't feel like it even makes 200hp. But I haven't smashed the pedal down either just a 5 mile cruise to see what it would run like and it shouldn't have felt as slow as it did. I feel like my old fox body (84) was faster than this thing and this motor has aluminum heads/intake, fuel cell, etc. I know its a 306 to be sure though. If I got screwed over on the crate motor I have second block that Ill probably just go to 331 and dump extra money into. Id like to save some money on this one though and have an expert look at it.

You have a PM.

Thanks, but I already have a lot of money in it the way its wired already and don't know if I really want to pay someone 50-90 an hr to do it all over again. Id like to get it running good the way it sits. Also Im overseas right now so calling is easier said then done, Ill send you a PM.

I have a running vehicle with a 302 bored out to a 306 (motor/tranny has less than ten miles on it). I bought this motor as a turn-key crate motor. However it does not feel like it has 400hp as advertised and is slow and does not have any hump to it. My G35 is way quicker than my truck (88 ranger). So is there anybody I can take this to that can do a proper check on my motor and make sure its setup correctly and hopefully get it running right. Its a carb'd setup so Im thinking that floats or something else might be stuck or the secondaries aren't opening up as the truck and motor usually just sits as I spend most of my time overseas, but I came home on vacation just recently and drove it for the first time and it was a disappointment to say the least. Also any idea on price? I.E. hourly rate? Thanks.

G35 only b/c I own one. I actually just bought the thing a couple months ago and its my nice weather daily driver, I dont plan on modding it. I wanted a CTS-V, but like you I was paying cash and a G35 thats nice can be had for 12-13K as opposed to the caddie at 17-18K for a decent one. And I feel the G35's looks will last a long time compared to the CTS-V. Two knocks I have on the G35 is that the interior is a little on the cheap side, and the mpg's arent bad but not great either. Drivetrain is solid but like i stated previously its only a daily.

Daughter evicting 91yo WWII vet father from the house he built
ShoMeSomeFun replied to RC K9's topic in Dumpster
This my dad sold his house and moved in with his parents and has been taking care of them for 5 years now. Grandmother cant walk, use the restroom or clean herself. My dad does all of it. Grandfather has been battling cancer on and off for 2 years and on top of all that his brother, my uncle is mentally handicapped. I have no idea how he keeps all their meds in line, much less his sanity because there is no breaks for him... never. And he runs the family business during the day while he pays for someone to watch them until he gets home. Its taught me alot about the character of man caring for his family, complete sacrifice for personal pleasure or leisure. -
True dat. Started working out 8 years ago 1-3 times a week, now I feel like Im slacking if I take a day off. And cheat meals are fun but if you eat good all the time you realize how crappy they really make you feel.

Been wondering about that thread as well. Awesome car and work, wish I could of saw the finished product.

Same thing happened with me when I was a kid, and mom forced me into basketball and football. Turns out you get picked on more when you join those sports when you dont succeed right away so its a roll of the dice, but eventually genetics came in and I put on 30lbs in 3 1/2 years ( I was 5'11'' 167 lbs freshman year of H.S., Im 6'1'' 205 now 10 years after H.S.) and held my own and earned my place for better or worse. Eventually joined the track team and loved that most of all. Still play both sports, and run 5ks when they pop up in my area, today but those first couple years of learning and trying to get stronger werent the most enjoyable but I really appreciate what hard work can bring because of it. But if your kid is handling people when they rub him the wrong way I would say you dont have much to worry about.

Maybe a Subaru Legacy would work for her. -
This is exactly why boat is so much better than car racing.

I thought the same thing, its rare that an outcome like this happens and is comical as well. Props to Ramsey.

To the poster, my dad built his own house. He and his friends did the basement and the only thing that he contracted out was the framing of the house. Everything else he did on his own and it took him two years and 70000 to build a 4 bedroom 2300 sq ft house out in the Pataskala/Etna area on a half acre of land. This was in the late 90's as well, and sold the home for way more around 2005. I just recently purchased my first home in January. I only paid 62k for a 3 bedroom 3 car-detached garage, (it needed some work) in the Darby Creek area. I know it isnt a hotspot, but I was able to re-side the house, paint, and do some electrical work and now I got land, and four walls to sleep in while I go back to school in the fall.

My brother has a rescue lab as well, he's kind of a dummy in a fun way, but is still a great dog. Ive had a couple rescue pits and have had no issues with them, and most cases of dog attacks on people, the dog gets misidentified as a pit.

It looks like a civilian plane. And from my time there most of the civilian planes are just commercial flights for contractors to go straight to Dubai. Ive been on plenty of them, however that plane looks much larger than any I flew on so only other thing I think it could be is a DHL, FEDEX, UPS cargo plane which are common, but not sure why that plane would be carrying cars and it for sure wouldnt be carrying any MRAPs if it is commercial.
