  1. Thanks for the praise Brent! Hope to do what we can in the future!
  2. Yeah, nothing exciting, but that exhaust sounds amazing with the valves open!
  3. There is a link to a motor trend drag race with the zr1/599 gtb Ferrari/GTR/ Gt3 Porsche. Someone i'm sure can find it.
  4. Customer stopped by the shop on Friday to show us his new purchase, and get some baseline pulls before modding the car! We all checked out the car, and it looks great! We also showed him the little exhaust bypass trick, and opened up the muffler system, overall I was impressed with the sounds and performance. Here is some photos http://ipsmotorsports.net/pictures/GRzr1-1.jpg http://ipsmotorsports.net/pictures/GRzr1-2.jpg Eric our tuner in this photo http://ipsmotorsports.net/pictures/GRzr1-8.jpg http://ipsmotorsports.net/pictures/GRzr1-6.jpg He already got the wheels powder coated black for those that noticed! (albeit the car is a little dirty, it gets driven ) Here is the dyno chart! Bone stock! http://ipsmotorsports.net/pictures/2009ZR1.jpg Our dyno tends to read a little low, but its not far off. I was amazed how rich the air fuel ratio was, at wot it averaged around 10.6-10.8. We tried to tune the car, but HP tuners did not have file support just yet, they are going to get that done for us. Then plans are George from Kooks sent us some Kooks long tubes, and off road pipe Lou sent in a B&B fusion exhaust as well! IPS custom tune Cheers -Brandon
  5. I couldnt ask for a better atmosphere, and job.
  6. Ill post the graph on monday, need to get HP tuners to get file access, then we let some more fun begin
  7. 200, more is always better Just put a escalde alt. on the car, and then you can still tune it with the ECM
  8. Give us a call or PM, we have done this quite a few times, Ill make you a good *student* deal.
  9. Make sure you bleed the brakes starting from the wheel furthest from the brake cyclinder. And do all the lines at once. You get get one of those handy vacs if you like, but im not a fan.
  10. The government needs to just re vamp the unions (aka destroy them) and restructure. If American car companies can not make cars in America for profit , how can Japanese and Euorpean car companies do it? Ill start with teh UAW... I say let them bankrupt, maybe then we could get move the company in the right direction, and unforuntalty if this means people loose their inflated salaries, and pensions, well thats unfortunate but times are tough. The CEO of GM just got a pay raise with in the last 6 months...What a joke.

    Prosport gauges

We buy some from rick for our customers classy guy
  12. They have no defense in the big 12, I would predict, TT playing an SEC florida or alabama, or playing usc and loosing.
  13. We have been doing this for a while, for a lot of customers, its very possible. In fact everyone has been doing econo tunes for a while in town, 4 bones a gallon is not much fun.
  14. Yeah, Johns car on a completely stock tune yeilded around 8 degrees of knock retard, had him get some good 93 octane, and made great gains, to power and overall drivability. We are fortunate to work around with so many of these trucks, they have great potential. Ill post up a heads cam truck we have done as well, when I am back from Texas.

    obama wins

Meh, spend more... you win. Moving on.
  16. When all you have to do is spend more money then the opponent it is easy to attain victory... Marketing 101
  17. Shoot me a PM with the part number i will get you a better deal
  18. Prove, really we are trying to prove this - With proper tuning and a simple cold air intake there are very nice gains that can be made. With just the intake and not the proper tune you can not utilize performance potential. Also what TBSS has 200k already? Im certain very few. This tune we send out mail order, it is very safe, and runs on pump gas, nothing to crazy about it, just when modifications are done properly you can see the benefits!
  19. With the increased traffic of trailblazer ss's through the shop, we have done quite a bit of work to them, both the two wheel and all wheel versions. For those of you interested in the truck or modifying the truck, and the stock versus intake tune capabilities here is a dyno chart showing some comparative data. http://ipsmotorsports.net/pictures/jason%20fetter%2006%20viper/TBSS%20Dynos.bmp -Blue line is a completely stock 06 TBSS AWD -Red line is a completely stock 06 TBSS AWD w/o speed limiter (baseline pull from a different truck than the blue line) -Green line is a competitors tuned 06 TBSS AWD, with cold air intake -Purple line is IPS tuned 06 TBSS AWD, with cold air intake. You will notice there is nearly no variance between the first two cars, which are both completely stock. So we have a good foundation for comparison. Then you have the green line, which is tuned by another shop with a cold air intake. Now look to the IPS tuned truck, the purple line, there is a lot of difference between the two, up to as much as 30 RWHP and 30 RWTQ in the trucks power band. As you can tell with just a simple cold air intake and a IPS custom tune you can pick up around 30-35 RWHP and 30-35 RWTQ through the mid range and around 20-25 RWHP 20-25 RWTQ in peak power! Cheers -Brandon
  20. I pay attention, it simply comes down to the spatial order of your issues, and although the envirornment is important to me, and seemingly more to yourself, I blieve unfortunatly having affordable means of life for myself, and a family is just as important or more to me. Yes I have a consience and want to make the world a better place... How fun would it be if we cut coal energy as a resource, or tax it heavily raising its cost beyond reasonable affordability? Would we be able to afford electric for our computers, our companies that pay our salaries, our hospitals that keep people alive? At what sacrifice are you willing to make, ill take not eating catfish from West Virgina, so that I can have affordable heat for my pregant wife, and a home with fundamental necessities. I dont like catfish anyway. Acid rain, Mercury, they are sad results of the coal burning process, but the fact of the matter is where do you draw the line? Can we improve upon our energy resources im certain, but again at what cost, I believe Senator Obamas method is as ignorant as you describe me, hell good ole exxon mobile only spent 1% of their profits on renewable, or clean energy alternatives last year, and until the government steps in, nothing will change there. I mean as an analogie, should we all stop driving cars because they polute the envirornment? Or should we just tax you more becuase you drive a vehicle that emmits just as much or more CO2 then coal burning energy plants?Car emmisions rasie smog, acid rain levels, deteriates the air quality that your pregnant wife breaths, forget eating, every breath she takes? So at what cost Eric, if we can not even control spending in a simple presdentail campaign, (your boy barack doesnt have any lobbying intersts... spending nearly 600 million dollars since january 2007) then how can we enforce clean power, and energy indepence, or keep honesty in wall street, any of these things? Its an empty promise to no return, an thats the sad truth I see. So as for taxing the coal companies, ill bet the nest president wont ever get the chance because congress with fatten their pockets with lobbiest money, defaulting any hope of legislation (and we know good ole Nancy sure as heck wont pass any legislation...)
  21. We commonly like to drop the subframe, its quick an easy. Its just what flavor you like. Ray looks good! Let me know if we can get you a deal on anything!
