I've gone to a few and always have really good seats. You can typically meet some old players and get some autographs as well. Of course, when you have media passes, you get to be pretty close to the action.
I think the first thing you do is go to Mad Hatter (as suggested) and see what they can do. A lot of their repairs are done in a VERY affordable manner without sacrificing quality of work.

You assume the guy in the truck was tailing him. I assume the nutcase in the car cut him off multiple times while brake checking him.
