  3. See now i tend to turn mine off almost always. After the guardrail incident at the begining of the year, i turn it off. The DSA on the S40 not only controls the independent ABS, but it controls traction control, AND suspension stiffness. It basically takes any and all chance of you being able to minipulate the cars weight and balance away from you, and your just along for the ride. I mean on city streets going 25mph... its fine. Works great. On the highway... the car feals like dead weight.. it wont do anythign you want it to. Skills > DSA

  5. Yea, my area coach does it to me all the time. I run crazy ops stats all Quarter long, have one bad night because i wasnt set up from the morning, and its "OMFG Nick, if you want to get promoted you have to show me you want it... you do so good for so long then just piss it away... i just want to strangle you sometimes!" And im #1 in the Columbus region... cant imagine the shit storms the suxxors get

  9. those little white dashes on the shoulder are exactly 1/4mile apart too... those are the ones cops get you with from the air. It should take you exactly 60 seconds to cross all 5 of them @ 60mph.

Best representation i could come up with based one the data presented was: 598.284 CID 7500rpm redline 928bhp @ 6046rpm 909lb-ft @ 4512rpm In a stock 1996 chassis w/ 30x15 slicks, and 4.11 gears, the best manual gearbox time it pulled was a 9.46 @150.27mph... with a 3spd auto, 9.61 @ 147.36mph. Best guess. So Gearhead is right, it did make more horsepower than torque... just not much more. The motor is very square so the NA figures will almost always be damn near identical... obviously the more power you make the greater the spread but the percentage of the spread should be equal. When i applied a 500shot of nitrous... the motor made exactly 500bhp more, but 978lb-ft more... then it exploded.

  17. It doesnt... thats why im building a hybrid. It uses a TD04HL-12T... im using that turbing housing so it will fit the factory manifold. I want to use the turbine and center section, but use the 16G wheel... in oder to do that, i have to shim the shaft and mill the compressor housing... but id rather just use a 16G housing to make things easier. I know it too uses a snap ring, but i dont know if its the same size or if the housing will fit the 12T center section.
