Yea i dont play source... i havent gotten around to upgrading my computer for Source. Ill be playing DOD first, then maybe some CS Just do a search under Find Servers. The latency is almost always under 50 so if you set it to <100, youll find it pretty east.

Cops usually sit in these spots.... - valley just south of exit 94 - Exit 84 - between exits 69 and 65 - just before exti 50 on occasion - right before exit 34 - Around PKI/The Beach - Once you pass 275... there are no cops. Ive made that drive a couple hundred times so i pretty much know where to not be a total lunatic.

I got my Steam back up and running last night so i can play again. I played CS... yea i still suck. Then i played DOD and rocked the house again. I dont know if its just connections speed or what but it seems like very few people are good at that game. So anyway, im thinking of playing DOD tonight around 8ish on this one server that is just fun to destroy people.... ^_^ Mad Servers Avalanch.... Its a pretty quick server too so no lag. We can play some other ones too, its just a good place to warm up i think. Whos in?

I took one about... 6yrs ago... i dont know how it is now, but i think it was a big help for me. It taught me more about cordination and being prepared ahead of time than anythign else. Youll like it

The Volvo is thrashed. I was driving on Big Run Rd tonight and while exiting a corner, Bambi thought it convienent to cross the road. So, my inner self said Oh mY n03z!!111!1, and swerved to miss poor little Bambi. Fortunatly, i cleared Bambi's furry ass by about 3 inches. Unfortunatly, i said hi to about 18inches of woods with the right side of my car. The front door is completely smashed in, the frame under the doors is mangle but seems to be still square. The front window exploded all over the inside of my car, the mirror took flight down into the creek, and there are scuffs/scratches from headlight to tail light from trees and branchs all down the right side. The roof, trank lid and spoiler are all scratched up from the glass sliding and rolling across it. The A-piller is fucked. I think my right front rim might be bent too... its deffinatly marked up... but it might be bent. This does not make me happy. I try to preserve a small part of wildlife and what happens... a good $7000 worth of damage to my damn car. Next time i see Bambi, im going to fucking smash it. Ill post pics tomorrow. :(

Im reading the terms used and answering the quesiton accordingly. When it comes to physics, there is no leway on the terms. Speed = a unit of measure, not a motion. MPH, KPH, etc. Velocity = Speed + direction Acceleration = Any change in the objects velocity. This includes speeding up or down, or any change of direction. EDIT* Heres where you fucked up.... You basically said exactly what i read.

Heres an analogy... Put a car in Neutral and place it on slope that will allow it to roll at exactly 10mph forward. Now move the ground backwards at exactly 10mph... does the car stay stationary??? You know it wont. It only picked up some extra friction. It will slow down, but it wont stop. In theory, the wheel speed and vehicals velocity should be inverses of each other. So the wheel speed will double, but the vehicals velocity should halve. The reason why the analogy works is because in both cases, no force is being applyed to the rearward moving ground. Two different types of forces are causing the vehicals velocity, but the results are the same.

The word "Force" is not used anywhere in that question. Speed and Acceleration however were used... and both pretain to velocity. So to begin with, the questionis worded incorrectly if its supposed to mean force for force. By saying, matching the planes speed, you say plane applys thrust to reach 10mph on solid ground, and turn the moving ground @ 10mph. I understand the reasoning you have, but it just isnt right for the question typed.

Pasted from abouve: An objects forward motion is defined by the object applying the force being exerted and the medium its being applied to. So the answer here will come from following the force in both directions. The force is coming from the propeller spinning. The propeller is attached to the plane. The force is being applied to the still air around the plane. The air will move reward, and thus the plane forward. The plane being on the treadmill has absolutly nothing to do with its forward motion and will only apply a small but insignificant amount of friction for the plane to overcome before actully moving forward. the only the plane WOULDNT move forward, would to be to spin the wheels fast enough to create as much force of friction, as the engines produce in thrust. But the question here is what if we match speed for speed. So lets say the max speed of the plane is 200mph. If you move the tread mill at 200mph, then apply full thrust to the engines, the plane will still move forward as long as the friction created by the wheels against the ground doesnt create a larger force than that of the engines thrust. This is almost impossible. So it is a safe bet to say the plane will move forward and eventully take off. God i love physics. The End.
