graemlins/nod.gif Just about any race from a line is heads up, but those seem to be few and far between... everyone LOVES to race from a roll it seems like. Not my cup of tea, but racing's racing right? smile.gif
  2. Meh Eric i just heard 2 anouncers anouncing the same damn race say Jaguar... one said Jag-you-were, the other Jag-you-are... i guess it could be anything
  3. stupid bitch graemlins/lol.gif
  4. "Im sorry sir but we are going to have to fine you $65 for not practicing catch and release..." I think before we clone anything, we need to find ourselves a BigFoot. Who wants to go on a field trip???
  5. sounds like a bunch of firecrakers going off in a coffee can when it idels.
  6. Me too... maybe i do have a little redneck in me 883 Sportster... ive looked at those too.
  7. Very clean car. Im not much of a stang fan, but id roll it
  8. What was it doing the trail test and it rolled over
  9. Jaguar V12... thats sexy smile.gif You know what gets on my nerves... people who say "Jag-wire" instead of its proper pronounciation, "Jag-you-were" Or "Moe-dee-nuh" instead of "Mode-in-uh" oh and heres the worst one.. i heard a customer say this one the other day... "May-Back" instead of "My-bock". I just wanted to throw a 2 liter at him graemlins/wtf.gif

Yea but that really happens. I have spotted and been spotted cars before. Its just a way to try to make a very unfair race fair.

Anyone else watch this tonight??? Bout time they came out with a show for street racers that run their mouths too much to put up or shut up. lol... dude lost his 2000 Formula graemlins/lol.gif
  12. The only "oil" it needs is on the barrings of the carrages... in which case id say it would be more like axel grease. With the carrages riding on wheels around the housing, the friction is next to nothing. Rolling friction is on both ends of the spectrum. The friction is VERY HIGH when used with say ABS. But its very low when there is no power is needed for acceleration (both positive and negative). Think of a train wheel against the track. Almost no friction there, no need for lubing the outside edge of it, just a good polishing.
  13. No, Mustangs give Mustang owners a bad name graemlins/thumb.gif Sure there are some nicely put together ones here an there, but in general theyre just like every other car... 10-20% worth looking at, the rest just thrown together. Mustangs = The Price is Right... PLAYED THE FUCK OUT! Just my opinion.
  14. I have to politely disagree with the "top heavy part smile.gif To begin with, it already weighs next to nothing. About the same amount as a nicely stripped down CRX or shelled EG. Im sure you could find a way to pull a good 100lbs off it. Some 7 or 8x13 slicks and maybe a set of stiffer springs and that thing would be nothing less than an oversized shifter kart IMO. wonder if a Gixxer motor will fit
  15. so how bout we take this thing here... http://us.autos1.yimg.com/img.autos.yahoo.com/aic/smart_citycabrio_pulse_2005_385x192.jpg And mod the shit out of it. Its got a 700cc turbo charged inline 3 cylinder. It makes all of 61bhp and 59lb-ft. Curb weight is 1610. TWO SEATER, FRONT ENGINE, REAR WHEEL DRIVE, 6-SPEED MANUAL.... = Sports car??? graemlins/wtf.gif Anyways, i think it would be fuckin cool to have one of these with about 150hp in it... Theyd ban the shit from autoX. 71 in wheel base graemlins/lol.gif
  16. I think this man is correct... purge valve graemlins/nod.gif

    Chase in LA

with a 40mph difference in speed, the bike puts 1/2 mile distance between him and the chopper in a mear 40 seconds. With no traffic... say I-71 at about 3:30am (made that run many a time going to Cincy), You could easily average a considerible speed w/o too much problem... except for that gehy construction zone between exits 65 and 69... might suxxor on a bike. Anyway, Because the back roads are so spread out, and such a distace between exits, if you can manage a good 130, 140mph average... it would be almost impossible for them to visibly track you for very long. None of that matters though, because in the end, you get stung by the good ol` R-A-D-I-O. So in all reality, this douche has managed to EVADE... but thats about it. He hadnt gotten away with anything
  18. i still remeber the look on dudes face when i said i wanted to dyno the Volvo He was like,"Uhhmm... ok." I thought it was very nice of him to ask me to sit in the car on the first pull to show him how to keep the car from kicking down. It was also cool that he asked me how far i wanted it to be revved out, rather than just thrashing on the limiter. Great business DTM is graemlins/nod.gif
  19. Unknown Sprinter > Bill Goldburg graemlins/nod.gif
  20. sweet vid. Those LS engines sound so friggin sick its just.... well, sick. Question: (hopefully w/o getting flammed *fingers crossed*) - Do you have your shift light set a few hundred rpm shallow and drag the gear out just a tad on purpose, or are you just not all that concerned w/ slamming into the next gear? Just seems like its on for quite a while before you change gears. Ive been rockin the Z06 hat since 2001, hopefully i can have one buy 2010 smile.gif
