  1. No sweat man, glad i could help. I was all over the place that day. While Chris was playing on his laptop, i was running the event :burn:
  2. Heres what happend. The drivers side motor mount let go and te engine dropped down. In doing so, it pulled the axel right out of the diff., causing fluid to spit out. The axel was still connected to the wheel, but it was not connected to anyhting else... so it was just flopping around down there. The only fluid both him and the guy who was driving (black SRT4 w/ AGP FMIC) talked about, was the fluid was from the tranny, not the engine. We put it on the trailer... and after that i dont know what happend.
  3. Do you still have that 350 block... and tell your mom to stop calling me.
  4. Heres that civic i was telling you and Bill about... tell me i dont do that perfect http://youtube.com/watch?v=5unj-a0O7L0

  9. Yea... because you have so much trouble pulling the front end up
  10. I dont see where it says its deckheight... im guessing its 9.325... 9.025 is standard height, and as far as i know, the Worlds block is the only one thatll fit... but i could be wrong.
  11. Yea thats what my tires were saying to me on Friday... there is so much rubber up the sides of my doors... BOTH of them
  12. Let me explain how im about to destroy this Chipotle burrito bowl TO THE MAX!
  13. This should be in the TECH section....
  14. Ill say F em too. I knew what was expected of us, and what we were to expect from them. Bottom line is, they lacked communication internaly and noone knew what was going on except for Me, Brian, Hal, and on occasion, Anthony... but me and Hal were there pretty much every weekend. Heres what didnt happen... 1. Cones were not brought out to us on a regular basis, we had to chase them down, and I even bought my own because of it. 2. The lot wasnt blocked at the agreed time, so we were unable to park where we were promised. 3. When we told the Pit Crew guy to kick people out, he didnt. 4. When idiots were doing burnouts that werent with us, and werent parked inside the coned area, we were blammed, and told to leave... So what was the fucking point? Bottom line is, the GM is the most worthless manager ever. There are three things that come with a GM job... accountablity, commitment, and comunication. That GM fails on 66% of his job.
  15. you cant on a bowtie... not with out a raised deck. The Worlds block is the only standard deck height block that will take a 4.000" stroke crank without grinding.

    Halo 3 tonight

ill have to go buy a 360 and this game soon... but i think i need tires first
  17. I would buy a Worlds block... not a Bowtie. 1. 454ci (4.250 x 4.000) 2. Roots + 2 stage plate 3. 200 x 2 4. 8-71 6. Dig. Second choice, Dart Little M 1. 409ci 2. Turbocharger + Nitrous 4. 100 5. T88 6. Roll.
  18. Perfect example: Steve. He's important because: A. He's Brians brother, and equaly as entertaining. B. His hair is kickass
  19. Yea, ive never talked to any of those people. Nor have any of those people set up or been a part of setting up/working any big CR event. Those are the people you need to talk to in order to be included in the big events and exclusive information. I myself try to get involved when ever work allows it... the hook up on lunch for Dyno Days, policing QSL, working the Norwalk day, etc. Getting involved and taking the time to help out earns trust and authority. There are some people that are on here who dont come out very often if ever... but they are still worth noticing just because they are great keyboard warriors, as well as great sources of knowledge.
  20. Maybe because noone knows you. You cant just show up and not talk to anyone that matters and expect to be included.
  21. Lies. Im pretty confident i coulve run it a bit quicker with another pass or two... i was losing my time from the 1-2 shift... i could tell. Itsa been about 3 yrs since ive drivin a stick and for never being in that car, a 13.66 wasnt too depressing. Ill have to get Andy let me pilot his STi sometime... i run quicker than him in every car hes ever owned... and he 100lbs lighter than i am
  22. Why do i feel like Jesse James had something to do with that...
  23. I would deffinatly like to thank Chris and Anthony for funding and setting up the event. I personally had a great time both working and playing Id like to thank everyone for being very patient with the us in the tech and in staging while checking for fluids. There was a mistery car that would spit a little bit right down the middle, and i know a few fingers were pointed, and to those who were dry, Id like to appologize. I know of at least one person that was pretty upset with being flagged for dropping fluids, and we did our best to get him rechecked, by both myself and Chris, to clear him back to the track. The one thing i didnt want to see was anyone getting hurt, and actully spoke to the EMT about it for a minute. I personally appreciated everyones cooperation and respect for us as the "officials" of the event. Thank you to those riding the bikes for bringing and wearing the appropriate gear. And thank you to all those in the cars for running on our cues in staging. I most deffinatly want to thank everyone who was combing the grassy area and staging for my "missing" car key. That was very nice of you all to help, and i do appreciate it. If you havent seen the kitchen thread, turns out the damn thing was still in Thornes car... it was just hidden because the seat had moved several times after it had fell out of my pocket. He found it after we got back to Columbus. The track people were very nice and understanding, allowed the car to stay there, and didnt hassel me a single inch when i came back to pick it up. Didnt ask for my ID or anyhting, just let me right in to get it. She called me "sweetie" too... ZING!
