  1. What are the specs on these heads?? If they are comparable FML http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/generation-iii-internal-engine/395815-afr-205s-thunder-trak-cam-487rwhp-436rwtq.html
  2. Yea that makes two of us!!! By the time I paid for head studs, gaskets, parts, labor, over 3k for the motor mods was not worth the estimated 60 horse I gained over a stock ls1 What kind of power loss can be expected due to it being an auto car??
  3. Anywho... 40k mile ls1 02' block, mid headers, 3" mandrel bent exhaust, ls6 intake 42lb injectors, 3" CAI,locked TQ, speed density tune,IRS car. Cam-231/234 .640/.590 112 LSA Heads-243 casting 5 axis CNC machined 220cc Intake Runner Intake Flow Rate 305 CFM Exhaust Flow Rate 235 CFM 2.000 intake valves / 1.550 exhaust valves Comp 918 single coil valve springs Respectable???
  4. Like the title says, name the motor and the mods and i'll give u a cookie!!! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v704/hiitsmejimmy/JimMurray-1.jpg
  5. ****NSFW**** http://www.playboy.com/articles/maria-brink/index.html But yea I have to say I would!
  6. I believe you tuned my black ls1rx7 at IPS. Would it be possible to get the dyno graph, I dont know what kind of power the car finally made.
  7. Picked this up several months ago and love it! Bought it used, owner never used it came with the liners and handle still in the box. Filled up a lot quicker then I thought, I may need to buy a top soon! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v704/hiitsmejimmy/BiMmZ3B2kKGrHqIOKjEsmuDfHOBLNn7zEhg.jpg
  8. Well thanks to my trusty old craftsman 15mm open end wrench I rounded the head off a bold that holds the power steering pump on. I didn't have enough room to get a flare nut wrench in there so I called my snap on guy and bought a Flank Drive Plus open ended 15mm. I was leary if it would loosen the rounded bolt and it did with ease, the best $32.00 i've ever spent!. Are the Mac edge wrenches even comparable? I found a couple used set of the edge wrenches and they are a bit cheaper then the snap on. Just figured I'd get a few opinions from people who wrench on a daily basis!
  9. Sorry for posting the only bullshit thread that's ever been posted on the forum! And the fingerprint thread will come after the thread about my airbag sensor being removed to mount the radiator! So stay tuned SuperMod!

    WTB..ls1 parts

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v704/hiitsmejimmy/03-18-10_2307.jpg Scratch that off the list. You should have it next week!
  11. When working on this thing I need a good sense of humor or I'd have no motivation to work on it. It's a set of struts away from driving down the road which is long over due. Once its up and running I'm thinking of making IPS a care package for all their hard work and determination on the build. It will consist of scotchlock conectors, paper clips, soldering iron, rubber grommets, and many other random things that they used on my car that ran down their supplies. Either way I just want to thank everyone on the forum for answering my dumb questions so I can get this damn thing finished!
  12. haha yea kinda like a hybrid ground cable, half 4ga. and half 8ga.. I paid them to "fab" up a battery relocation kit that included that "custom" ground cable!
  13. Callout?? I posted a picture of something fabricated by a local shop and they were unable to step in and defend their product so callout, I dont know but some type of reasoning behind that half assed cable would be nice! The car was getting intermittent voltage drop at several of the coil packs so I started checking grounds and found that mystery cable dangling from the head and was curious if it was up to par!
  14. I bought enough cable to make 2 ground wires so I had double the materials.
  15. Yea one side appears to be 4ga. or 6ga. butt connectored to an 8ga.wire and it doesn't fit. But yea it failed the tug test on the thicker cable that was frayed. So I suppose you pass, but the cable did not!
  16. OHM Old- .5 New- .3 Well the cable failed wills tug test, but heres what I got. Voltage Battery- 11.79 Cable- 11.76 Do I pass?
  17. LOLZ!!! It's for sale if your looking to put it on your new build!
  18. I got 5 ft of 4ga wire, terminals, solder, and some heat shrink for around $25.00. That wire should have NEVER been made with scraps you had laying around the shop. Not much to ask for.
  19. There was a piece of electrical tape over the butt connector but not over the terminal ends, luckily I took off the electrical tape to see that the wire on the head was much larger then the other end and didn't quite fit into the butt conenctor and was badly frayed. I have some 4ga wire on the way and will get a new cable made soon!
  20. Well, It came off a car! I'm sure you can take a stab at the producers of this quality of work!
