    WTB Mustang

Here is the pony I had listed in here a few weeks ago. I was browsing craigslist and it seems as if the guy that bought the car is trying to make a quick $2K. The car is very nice though. http://limaohio.craigslist.org/cto/915360161.html
  4. Figured a phone number might be helpfull. 740-391-3250

  6. Be patient its at the shop right now getting all shiny!
  7. 1993 Mustang GT 5.0 5 speed. White with grey interior. California car with 63k miles. I just had the car shipped in from La Jolla and have an itch for another vehicle. The car has shorty headers, o/r x-pipe and flowmaster cat-back. 3G. alternator conversion, msd ignition box, subframe connectors, short throw shifter, lowered about an inch with camber plates. Exterior of the vehicle is straight as an arrow and paint looks good. Has aftermarket fiberglass hood. Chrome pony rims have brand new tires 225’s in front 245’s in rear. Interior is mint except for dime size hole in driver seat. The bad: Car has a grind in second mainly when it’s cold. If your driving normal the trans is fine. I ran a carfax after I bought it and it says there was a mileage discrepancy in 1994 when vehicle had 24,000miles. NADA Guides vehicle report said that the discrepancy was cleared up on a later title and the report checks out fine. The mileage consistently increases on the carfax report. There is also maintenance record written in the back of the owners manual that match the date and mileage on carfax report. I have a clear title with actual mileage brand. Overall the vehicle is solid and runs great. The car is at the detail shop so hopefully I will have it back Friday to take some pictures. Price is $4850 o.b.o
  8. Heres a few pics. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v704/hiitsmejimmy/mustang003.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v704/hiitsmejimmy/mustang002.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v704/hiitsmejimmy/mustang001.jpg
  9. While trying to de-rice the mustang I currently bought i ran across someting that confused me. There is a monster audio circuit breaker with 2 thick gauge wires. 1 goes to the power block on the driver side fender and the other snakes all the way around to the alternator. There is a unused harness with I belive 3 wires on the back. Only thing that came to mind was maybe he upgraded the alternator but i have no idea about the circuit breaker?? Has anyone head of anything like this??
  10. I recently purchased a 93 gt 5 speed. I noticed as soon as I was driving the car home while accelerating in 3rd gear the car was whining I originally thought it was a belt but it does not do it with the clutch pushed in. The tranny also grinds terrible when shifting hard into second. I'm new to the fox scene and was curious if these trannys are notorious for going bad. The vehicle only has 64k miles on it. Thanks
  11. Managed to get the car running long enough to get a code. It was code 14 (no ignition signal). Ignition control module??? Any ideas what would throw this code? Thanks!
  12. Found out the map sensor was unplugged. Smoothed the car right out. Only problem now is i have a bad sulfur smell and it almost sounds like the cat is ticking also the vehicle will barely rev.
  13. I recently bought a 1993 geo prizm. 1.6L 175k miles with a bad tranny. I paid $300.00 for the car and $100.00 for the tranny. I got the tranny in but I tried adjusting the timing and when the car is in perfect time it wont start back up but if i advance it all the way it starts up fine. Cap and rotor looked worn so I replaced them along with the plugs. Wires look newer so I didn't bother. I had the wires jumped in the diagnostic box like it said. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
  14. I am very impressed with the gas mileage my 06 TL gets. I babied it on the last trip and got 34. Couldn't be happier!
  15. I figured I'd post up a few pics of the car since I had wheel medic do the wheels. Wheels turned out great. Thanks again Mike. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v704/hiitsmejimmy/tl005.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v704/hiitsmejimmy/tl001.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v704/hiitsmejimmy/tl003.jpg
  16. I pm'd silvercobramike and asked him about powdercoating some wheels. He was very friendly and just said to drop them off. He had the wheels done in 2 days and they turned out great! Just wanted to say thanks again.
  17. I mentioned that to him before but he doen't want to be bothered with swapping injectors and fabbing up oil and cooant lines he said.

  19. When I purchased my TL awhile back the dealer had a lightning on the lot and it was very clean. Not sure if it's still there and the price may be a little higher then you were looking to spend but figured i'd show you the link anyways. http://www.superdavesusedcars.com/vehicledetails.php?vid=15
